^ Good book choices, Montana!

I'm reading Whale Rider by....well, I forget the name, and also The Tao of Pooh, in preparation for the Intro to Buddhism class I'm taking next semester.

That is one of the best books I have ever read. There's a new movie in production too!

I'm reading The Silver Branch by Rosemary Sutcliff; Hannibal, One Man Against Rome by Harold Lamb; Beowulf; and Twelve Caesars by Suetonius.

I just got Fahrenheit 451 this morning and am already through parts 1 and 2! It's really good. I'll definitly want to see the movie too!

I love Rosemary Sutcliff's works!

What do you think of it? It wasn't my favourite in the series.

I'm reading "Knife of Dreams" by Robert Jordan, and am trying to make myself read "Heart of Darknes" for school.
I've also just read the poem "twenty one love poems" (also for Literature), so I've been reading notes and stuff on it...

Hooray! Today I realized I still have the school's copy. For some reason my entire LA class hated it. I take it you read the part where the woman burns her own house. I think that was my favorite part of the entire novel.

Sutcliff has a knack for historical fiction. I adored The Eagle of the Ninth. I also have The Lantern Bearers, but the library doesn't have a copy of Swords at Sunset.

Anyone read Christopher Moore? I read this book about when Jesus was young, but I can't remember what it's called. I'm Catholic, but I still think it's hilarious - definately not to be taken seriously!!

I'm reading a Darkover novel, a book called the Power of Elffire and Krondor-the Betrayal.

I finished reading F. 451, and loved the whole thing! That was a great part when the woman burned her own house.
I can't get enough Rosemary Sutcliff! I just love her works.

Right now I'm reading Nightfall by Isaac Asimov and some other guy, can't remember his name. lol

I just finished "Heart of Darkness" for school. I don't think I understood it, and I stopped really being able to follow what was going on about halfway through - but I finished it!

Now i can finally finish "Knife of Dreams" which I have been desperate to finish, but have made myself not only because I had this stupid book to read for literature...

I'm re-reading Spindle's End. Cute book. Goes on the basic story of Briar Rose. It does have some differences, and I like it quite a bit.
