yes I guess you're right in the end, but we don't know exactly. However I think that this would fit to her story.

Wow! Name change Eowyn!
What are we discussing at the moment?

We discussed if we would want to know what Tolkien thought about Éowyn's life in the Fourth Age, and how we imagine it to be like...

Ah right. I'd have thought that she had a happy life with Faramir and their son.

I was wondering if Boromir had lived at the end of the LOTR. Which one Eowyn would choose as a husband??prefer Still Faramir or Boromir?? What do you think of this matter??

I believe it still would have been Faramir. But I've never thought about this before, how the relationship between Boromir and Éowyn could have been...

that's a interesting question! I do think she'd chosen faramir, as boromir would probably have been off to war at the black gate. I wonder if they would have liked each other tho. I think they would... boromir was after all a nice guy deep down

I think she would've chosen Faramir. I somehow can't imagine Boromir and Eowyn being together, that just wouldn't fit I think.. maybe Boromir wouldn't understand Eowyn the way Faramir did and maybe he wouldn't also leave her enough freedom, but Boromir is a good guy of course

I really love the scene with Boromir and Faramir in the EE of TTT. It shows a new side of Boromir But you're right. Faramir understands Eowyn in a way that Boromir wouldn't. I think it's because Faramir is in a way trapped the same way as Eowyn is.

yes I agree, somehow they had the same problem and that is shown very well in the EE of TTT

yeah, it is. Boromir wouldn't have understood Eowyn. Somehow I think he was rather old-fashioned. He'd have wanted her to just stay inside and look pretty all the time...

yes that's what I tried to explain and I think Faramir gives her enough freedom, because I think that is what she needs very much and I think Boromir would perhaps have wanted her to be the typical housewive or so..
