I was in Den Haag (a city in the Netherlands) with two of my friends and we were staying that night at another friends place. I was (supposed to) sleep in the same room as my two friends, when we suddenly felt like someone was standing in the doorstep watching us. But there was no one there! We felt that the spirit was a man dressed in dark clothes and he was not the most comfortable person having around. He started to move around and we could all feel exactly where he was. He was getting closer very slowly as we felt another spirit enter the room, this one was a woman dressed in white and she was... soothing... The woman drove the dark man away slowly and then came closer real fast and sat down next to us to calm us down. We felt hapiness, but it was hapiness that came after a lot of sorrow... It was like we could feel what the woman had felt in her life. When she left, she left something soothing behind, which made us feel calm and comfortable again. We were all like: ".....wooooooooow!"

Very, very scary. It;s always worse in hotels isn't it, I refer my own safe bedroom!

Once when I as at high rocks (very scary place near the sea, tonnes of people have died there) I heard a woman reciting a poem, but there was noone there. It was only when I looked it up that I realised it was an old war poem, the one that starts "what passing bells for those who die as cattle?". It was really weird, cos we were the only ones there, and it couldn't have been in my head becaue I didn't know the poem.

Oo, weird! Pretty cool, though! It's so strange how sometimes you can feel another presence in the room when you're alone...

Well this time I wasn't alone ;) I've expierenced this sort of things a lot of times (mostly when I'm alone), sometimes it's an evil presence and sometimes it's a comfortable presence, but most of the time it's just a curious wandering spirit, neutral...
One time I was really sad and I was crying and I suddenly felt someone putting a hand on my shoulder, but it didn't feel... material, if you know what I mean. Suddenly I saw a picture before my eyes of my grandpa whom passed away several years ago and it felt like he really was there to support me in that dark hour. :)
