But from the lyrics, it sounds like he's a hangman, if you follow me. *shrugs*

i be applying for the job of boatswain if first mate be taken. i know a lot of that matter, i did that job on me brothers ship before i got me own vessel.
Canye address me no longer as Capt'n Rosa but Miss Rosa, ye seafaring folk?
Capt'n - before next cast off - we make port in tortuga. There be much need of repair on all sails, aye, they be in most terrible of conditions.
