May I join? I currently have braces. I think it's been 1year and a half now. I really find that they don't hurt me much. It's just really convenient when you don't wanna talk to your teacher or do a presentation to say that you can't talk b/c you just got your ties done. oh, and to get out of class for ortho appointments. Braces have perks.

Not in my teachers class. She yelled at me for missing her class to much. LOL. Anyway, I feel almost like the Chi Master of Braces. I have had mine on for at least 7 years, yes my teeth were that bad.

wow. I get mine off in about 2-3 months. Perfect timing!! Right before senior portraits and club pics and my cousin's wedding! Absolutely perfect! Lately, my braces have been bothering me though. They're like scraping the inside of my mouth. It stings sometimes, but other than that, it's ok.

Argh, they are driving me mad just at the moment. They're just, grrr...
And another bad thing with braces is food gets stuck in them. That drives me mad

Well, braces dont bother me that much anymore. When I got them on for the first time, it really hurt. I couldnt eat for a week. But I really dont care about the food thing, thats what brushing is for. What I hate is brushing inbetween the braces. Its almost impossible.

Oh, can I join?? Unfortunately I've had braces for over two years now.... I get them off in "a couple months." However, they've been telling me that for almost a year, so who knows how long I'm stuck with them.

Maybe you'll end up like me, wearing them for 7 years? LOL! Yes, we actually tried a type of power-washer for teeth. Yeh, didnt use it at all. It was a piece of junk and didnt cleant them the way I wanted.
You know, having them for 7 years, I've gotten rather tired of the orthodontist. Im practically a vetren!

Urgh, seven years?? And I thought 2 and a half was a long time. My sympathies.
I can see why you're tired of going to the orthodontist.

Yeh, Im not even listening to them anymore. It's just that after 7 years you get a bit tired with them on. I had them taken off for a year, but that was not enough to cure the other 7. Yes I have had them on 8 years but I took one year holiday from them. But I am certainly tired of them.

Oi! I will definitely be joining this club, though I am not new to the metal mouth experience.
I had braces for two and half years, then being a quite daft I didn't wear my retainer so that I could chew gum, and now I've landed myself back in the orthodontists chair. Just got them back on with some bright purple bands that are a pain in the neck to brush.
