You couldn't pay me to see it, because it's rated R (restricted to those 18 and older) here and I wouldn't be able to get into the theater. You could just give me money and I would run off with it though. Anyway, yeah, it does look stupid.

Why on earth would those pics have made it online? Eragon looks slow in one and disturbing in the other, and the only other character we see is Brom! I want to see Arya so I can reassure myself that they didn't mess her up too badly! Or, of course, confirm my suspicions...

I saw those pictures a couple days ago (maybe yesterday, I can't remember) and they are a little weird. Anwayz... when is the trailer coming out? I'm a little frusterated.

Who knows anymore? Supposedly it <i>might</i> be coming out in front of that football movie thing, Invincible, but Fox has canceled the trailer premiere so many times now that it's not good to get our hopes up

I just want to know when it'll be available online, because I don't think there are really any movies I want to see in the near future. Does anybody know? Or will it only be online after it comes out preceding a movie?

^ I don't think I'd go to a movie in theaters just to see a trailer, so yeah, I'm in the same camp wanting to see it online. Shur'tugal said (when Eragon was still going to be on a plane) the following about online release:

"Fox has also told us that movie trailers generally make their debut on the internet a day earlier than in theaters, meaning we can expect the trailer online on August 17th."

Arya does look young, doesn't she? Personally, I think Eragon's cute, but yeah, he might look constantly stunned. I think I would too after being normal for 15 years and suddenly becoming the next dragonrider and practically having to save the world

Actually I would go if you paid me.......for only five seconds. Then run out from the theater with the money. Techinically I did see it but since you didn't specify how long I had to stay or how much of it I had to watch, I am perfectly able to do that. HA!! I don't know......hopefully they will make Sapphira good. Personally, I thought it would have been better if they didn't make the movie now and actually waited for a couple of years. It took Lord of the Rings about 25 years to start making a movie out of the books and it won Oscars.
For those grumbling about Arya being young, one, she is an elf, she is supposed to look like that, sort of. Two, she is actually young in elven years. Only a hundred years old...
