^I'm the founder, and you'd be welcome if you want to join, Tinuviel (or anyone else). Still let's try to keep this club going as well...
Hmm, last night I watched the EE RotK cast commentary. Even without being able to hear much of the actual dialogue and music (because of them commenting ), it still got to me. What's your favorite scene of Frodo, girls? Mine is definately the one where he's lying in Sam's arms. (I love tender scenes between characters, and that one is so beautiful. )

Yay, let's keep this thread alive!
I've many favourites, among them definitely the whole Mt Doom sequence. I remember reading that chapter in the book about 10 times because it was so moving. and after that, I saw the movie and I cried so much...it was amazing, because I'm not that kind of person who cries a lot when watching movies.
And then, of course, the Grey Havens. Who doesn't love that smile, eh?

Hooray! People posting again! Long live Frodo and our love for him!
As for my favorite Frodo scene...... too hard. The ones of him and Sam at Mount Doom are certainly moving. I cry every single time. Then I ease up a little bit while Aragorn is getting corwned and everything. But by the Grey Havens I'm completely gone again, crying my eyes out. I also cry at the scene after Gandalf "dies" and they show Frodo all alone and crying (see my banner). Oh. And the one at the end of FOTR where Sam goes after him paddling away.
And I like the one of Frodo dancing in the Green Dragon. And I love the one of Frodo eating. And I love the one of Frodo sleeping. And I love the one of Frodo walking. You get it? I just love Frodo!
Once again, I am so glad to see this club up and running again!
EDIT: The thanks for this should really go to EarielMaurwen and ForeverFrodo. Thanks you two! You guys are awesome!

Oh! And seeing Frodo with his shirt off too.......... that was nice. Even if he was all dirty and wounded. <3

 You're right!
I also love the end of TTT with "the tales that really mattered". Crying Frodo

Of course. That was great. Frodo and Sam always make me cry. And I love them for it. Unusual maybe, but true.

And..... just because I feel like it........ here is a random but beautiful picture of Frodo!
Sorry for taking up so much space. But..... look at it! It's worth it.

That's a beautiful picture. (You might want to be careful about double posting, though, because the mods don't like that. The Edit function can be used instead, though. )

I know exactly what you mean. Regardless of what the scene is about, I'm apt to look at Frodo and go *sigh* and feel my love for him welling up. Being a Frodofan is a wonderful thing.
You're welcome, btw. Glad to do my part.

Sorry! I didn't mean to double post. I completely forgot about using the edit thingy. I can understand why the mods aren't crazy about it. A lot of people could use it to up their post counts unfairly. Thanks for reminding me.
Yes. I love that picture of Frodo. It's one of my favorites.
True. Being a Frodofan is a beautiful thing. And it's also a beautiful thing to be able to come here and talk about Frodo with fellow Frodofans!

I know! That's what makes the ending of Rotk bearable (along with writing Frodo-related poetry ). Isn't is strange how there are those who aren't really crazy about/misunderstand Frodo, yet we who do love him tend to adore him? Just something I've noticed. (I suppose it might be because he's a bit unusual--though it's hard to understand why people don't see that he has such a beautiful inner light--but I suppose that might mean we fans are a bit unusual, too, and if that makes us anything like our dear Ringbearer, I take that as a compliment!)

Well said Eariel. Well said.
I don't really understand people who don't like Frodo that much either. I've hearad a lot of people call him selfish, but I don't see that in him at all. Those people just don't understand the power of the One Ring I guess.
I love what you said about him having a beautiful inner light. I'd never heard it put that way before, but now that you say it, I think it nails Frodo completely. He does have a beautiful inner light. And it's sort of always present around him, and in him, through him. It's a part of his being. It makes him special.
I think people who love Frodo do tend to adore him. How could you not? Once you've taken the first step into liking Frodo.....well, soon you LOVE him. And then it's all downhill......... .
If I am unusual for being a fan of Frodo, then I am proud of it. I'm not a normal person. And I'm comfortable with that. In fact, I'm happy about it. And if I'm unusual in a way that's like Frodo, then I'm all the more happy.

The layout looks nice, but what are you going to be putting on the actual site? I tried clicking on a few things, and it took me to a website called Quest of Many Trails that didn't seem to have anything to do with Frodo. Other than that, I'd say it looks pretty good, Lady Earwen.
