I don't like Green Day. In my point of view, they are kind of pathetic. They are SO not punk, they are SO not rock, they are nearly as bad as Avril Lavenge!
The tune for the verses of Boulevard of Broken Dreams is cool.... but only because the tune (not style, TUNE) is almost identical the first verse of 'Fear of the Dark' by Iron Maiden!

I Personaly have to say that, Since Green Day has gotton bigger since the earlier years.And i hate to say this, but i think they kinda suck now. All their songs sound the same in a way or 2. THey've gotton into the new era. I just have to say that i like old school Green Day. my fav. song would have to be Time of your life

Green Day is my favorite band! Even though im not alowed to like them, or buy there cds, im lucky to have a radio which plays a few of there songs...Though I have herd alot of them that they dont play on the radio. I like there song Wake me up When september ends.

i reallly like green day! i think they're one of my favourite bands. but i like the old songs more!!! they're sooo great! Time of your life, burnout, when i come around, castawy, longview and all the other old ones.... the new songs are good too, but they're all the same. always this st.jimmy stuff....

i do like green day, but i think that their earlier work was better than the stuff of today. don't bash me for saying this, but they need to go home write some better music and hold up the place they deserve.

I love Green Day- I'm more of a fan of their older stuff. Yay for having big brothers right? Green Day has been around my house since 1994. It was fabulous for them to get so much recognition for American Idiot but it just made me miss the other eras even more.

Green Day is my all time favorite band. they have a really distinct style (maybe because they're an older band) and Billy Joe Armstrong's voice is amazing! my favorite songs are their long ones - Jesus of Suburbia and Homecoming. I have their American Idiot CD.
