I absolutely love the music from that scene, too. Especially the part right when Bootstrap swings the whip forward.

See, I actually loved that scene...in an emotional, morbid kind of way. For some reason, I always like the tragic scenes the most (like the Ride of the Rohirrim). Wrote a fic about it, too... :D

Me too, I liked that part, althuogh I kept flinching through the whole scene...Dose anyone elce get "in" to movies like that? I mean like, through the whole time Will was on Davy's ship I think my heart rate was up like 5 times!!...ok, I'm wierd.

*gets some rope nd make new hangman's knot to replace cut one, then goes to find pip.*

I typically do like the sad, emotional scenes (in RotK, the ride of the Rohirrim was amazing-- the first time I saw it, when the trumpets sounded for the first time, I burst into tears). But what I don't like is seeing people in pain, especially people or characters I care a lot about (like Will). For several nights after I saw PotC II I couldn't get to sleep at night, because I kept hearing his cries of pain ehoing through my mind. I know I'm very, VERY weird, but that's just how I am...

I'll be sure to check it out. But I don't know if I'll join. I'm pretty busy with another forum including this one, so we'll see if I can join.

Yeah, that scene was pretty cool, but for the rest of the movie he acted like he didn't have it. They should have taken it through the movie... I hate it when they do that... :annoyed:

I finally decided that I both hate and love the scene- I hate it because it's sooooo sad, but then and again I love it because of all of it's emotion, etc. :)

^^That is somewhat true. I think I'm glad it's in the movie, I just don't think I want to watch it again-- though I suppose I'll have to, as I want to go see it in theaters again...
