And I'll be sure to add The Count of Monte Cristo to that list. I'm sorta the opposite. lol. I usually have a hard time finding new books to read at my library. I should go through here, and the Literature board, and make a nice long list of books and authors to look up.
my book list is usually too long for me to manage. I have a dozen books and authors I want to explore, and I usually get sidetracked by another book/author along the way.

I have problems finding books because I've already read most of them! Right now I'm working on Protector of the Small (Tamora Pierce) and Shakespeare. Twelfth Night - I don't think it's a very well known play.
I love your avvy WD, btw!

Yeah, they are good. I'm on the last one right now, but having a bit more trouble getting into it because of all my school stuff going on.
For all you fantasy readers: have you read the Sword, the Ring, and the Chalice series by Deborah Chester? Those books are awesome!

Never heard of them, sorry, but I have read David Eddings books about Sparhawk. I don't think they really have a series name. lol.

Elenya, no I haven't read House. I've only read Thr3e, and The Circle Trilogry of his stuff.
Nurrantiel, I love the Twelfth Night! It's one of my favorite plays!
Speaking of fantasy, (or it's sort of fanasy anyway...) has anyone here read Swords for Hire? I read it a while ago and I'm thinking about reading it again. It's really funny. Sort of in the style of Princess Bride.

I haven't read the Princess Bride yet, but I have seen the movie. At the moment I am a little busy with the Wheel of Time series and I, Elizabeth.

reading the illiad....oh dear, its so hard! its not like any other book i've ever read, it doesnt describe who and how the characters are so if you dont know who achilles, agamemnon, or odyssius is you wont get it, also the gods, you have to know who the gods are and some chapters are so hard to read!!! i asked by history teacher and he told me there is one 20-page chapter all about achille's shield....i mean....

Oh, yes- I've read The Illiad before- it can be confusing at parts. Right now I'm reading The Phantom of the Opera and The Things They Carried. The Things They Carried is a book about Vietnam that we're reading in school- it's really good though, I highly recomend it. However, we're going very quickly, which leaves hardly any time for Phantom of the Opera, which I love, with all of my other school work.
