It seems pretty cool. Arya actually doesn't look bad at all, nor does Saphira. Eragon's the one who looks incredibly dweeby and thick. Ah well...I only watched it once; maybe it will grow on me with repeat viewings.

I've watched it thrice now, and it still doesn't completely impress or depress me. Brom looks the best, to me - he just looks like he'll be great in the movie. Eragon is still definitely bothering me. I suppose he was a whiny little brat in the book, too, but when he says stuff like "I'm the Rider and I say we go!" I was going "Geeeeez, cool it dude, the world doesn't revolve around you."

I like Arya's accent! It's cool how she says the word "follow" Why...is...Galbatorix...talking...like...this....? (Actually why is Galbatorix there at all? But that's another issue...)

Too bad Murtagh and Saphira don't get a chance to talk. Ah well.

Well, the scenary is pretty in the opening scene, I have to admit, it is sad they didn't film it here in Montana where Christopher got his inspiration...

Hmm, Galbatorix's castle is kind of freaky...but it's supposed to be I suppose

Hmm...Ed Speleers sure is pretty.

Wow! Saphira wasn't all that bad, I liked her and Arya too! I Agree with Arwen, Her voice is cool and her costumes aren't that bad, especially the white cape, it's pretty! Ooo, I like Eragon's cape in that one scene...spiffyness..but it reminded me of Anakin in Star wars ....his armor during the battle and Arya's also....is.....interesting?

You know, Arya's hair color really doesn't bother me now that I watch the trailer, if it was black it would remind me way to much of Arwen's so....

I have to admit, the special effect on the egg is kind of funny....hehehe

I'm disappointed we didn't get to see Angela...hrmph...she's my favorite character

Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing it....I don't think it will be the best of films...but.....oh well

I can't say I'm impressed. It doesn't look as bad as it could have been, but my overall impression is that it is a low budget Sci-Fi Channel movie (a la "Alien Apocalypse") with a special effects budget off 500 bucks.


I second that.

Saphira was okay, but here neck seemed too long for her body. Plus, she doesn't breathe fire until the very end of the first book, right?

I write a more detailed review when I get home tonight.

Well...I actually found myself smiling towards the end...that's a good sign...
Arya's disgusting. But you know, Sida, I never thought of that. Maybe the reason they gave her blonde hair is that they didn't want people to confuse her with Arwen...hmm. I actually thought Eragon was pretty good, Murtagh was great, and Brom was brilliant. But, uh....whyyy was Shruikan (is that 'is name?) in the trailer? Why's he in the movie? Grr.
