Oooh, yes, that was my first impression when seeing the trailer, "Oh, another low budget Sci-Fi movie" That was probably the most disappointing thing to me....
Brom was good! He seemed to "be" the role.
I wish Saphira was more blue.

Ditto, Saphira wasn't blue enough and it one of the shots she looked like a duck. She was okay, I guess. Not really what I expected, and I don't think her wings are big enough.
I actually quite liked the shot of Arya with the egg, but what was that with her holding it up and it practically spraying blue light everywhere? THat doesn't happen, as far as I can remember. She reminds me a little too much of that person who plays Hermione - what's her name? Emma Watson? And her costumes are still...
Um, and nobody laugh at me, but which one was Brom and which was Galbatorix? I was very confused about that part...

That was my opinion as well I think I got more pshyced after I watched the Narnia Teaser. And where were Roran and Angela?? I wonder if they are imbarrased to show Joss Stone in a Trailer??

Well, I was talking to Herenya last night/early this morning (whoooops, I stayed up just a little too late ), and I mentioned that already I forget a lot of the book, so by the time the movie finally comes out, I will have forgotten so much that it'll actually seem like a good movie. Yay!

^^Lol, actually that's what I'm thinking! I read the book a little over a year ago.
The preview is alright, I've watched it five times today... but Saphira really needs to be more blue. And the mark on Eragon's hand looked really scary. I thought it was supposed to be sort of silver... and I'm not happy with Arya. I hated her in the book, but she's not looking to good in the movie either...

I loved Arya in the book (except when it got into Eldest - then she annoyed me) but she's practically a redhead, which is weird. Saphira's wings are too much like a birds - aren't they supposed to be batlike? I can see FEATHERS! Dragon's don't have feathers!
Eragon seemed way more real to me this time, even in the trailer - in the book I always felt he was a little one-dimensional.

Ok, a more thorough review.
Galbatroix and Durza are okay, nothing to ogle about. Why in god's name is Durza riding a winged beast is beyond me. Arya's head is a bit too narrow but overall ok. Eragon seems a bit bossy overall okay as well. I am having a hard time distinguishing between the Varden and the Urgals. The books mentioned that the Varden was a bit organized not like a rabble of bandits they were portrayed in the trailer. As for Brom and Murtagh, I couldn't have asked for any better. Except when Brom talks, he leans his head forwards every other line. Sapphira, I swear, needs to go to a mythical creature make-over. At least make it more reptillian than avian!!!!

Do...dragons have....feathers? I swear I saw feathers on Saphira. I kept mistaking her for a griffin! She needs to be more blue!
This is all screwed up! Ahhh!

*is confused* Shruikan was there? How did I miss that? I did see a black 'dragon' (:annoyed2:) but I thought it was just Saphira (The Amazing Fire-breathing Blue Duck) in armor
Overall, I think I'd give the trailer 6 out of 10.
Saphira the Duck - not really bad, but still bad
Galbatorix - looks ok, but what... is... he... doing... there?
Durza - not bad, could've been much worse
Ra'zac - good (for the whole three seconds one of them was there - assuming that it was one of them)
Murtagh - good
Arya - also could've been worse
Zar'roc/Gedwey Ignasia - bad. Zar'roc looks cheap, and isn't the gedwey ignasia supposed to be silver? (it means 'shining palm', yes? Didn't look very shiny to me)
Mummified Urgal - bad (again, assuming it was an Urgal)

Heh, maybe it was Saphira. I thought it was a black dragon, but it was there for what? All of two seconds?
That mummified thing was interesting to say the least. I thought maybe it was supposed to be a Ra'zac, but would be very glad to be wrong.

I think the "black dragon" was a Lethbarka though I am not postive on that. There is only one scene of Sapphira that I liked and it was when she's breathing fire fire while Eragon stands there with his sword. Murtagh pulls a Leggie (firing more than one arrow in a shot) in one scene. I think you can see Jormundur and Naushada. You don't get see Orik though....sad. Seriously why is Durza standing on a dragon? Though possibly that "dragon" is a spirt of a twisted form of a dragon that was summoned by Durza, but that would deviate from the book by so much. But seriously aren't dragons more reptillian than avian?

Likewise grumbling loudly over here! In my more unkind moments I call her a cross between a duck and a sea monster!
