I hate it when people get their historical facts wrong and insist that it is right! Ack! I want to smack them! I'm a history freak and I know a lot about pirates, colonization, and English monarchy of the Renaissance period.
I hate it when party stores have the dorky pirate toys that are not historically correct. Many times Calico Jack will have a peg leg and a patch. He had neither! The only reason he was successful at all was because his wife, Ann Bonny, was more of a man than he was! And captain was barely a pirate all. He was an English privateer send on a mission to destroy a French ship. He sank the wrong ship accident and was hanged for it. I also hate it when people go looking for pirates burried treasure! What captain would be dumb enough to get all the spoils of conquest and then tell his men that they can't have it because they are going to put it in a chest bury on a remote will the possiblity of someone unburying it?!?!?! I'd spend the money I plundered as soon as I got it in my hands!
Okay... I'll stop ranting now.

Well, the thing is... there are a lot, and I mean a lot of politics in our relationship, and really I think the bottom line is she looked it up to be better than me, because I said I wasn't going to. I love spoilers, but I wouldn't go as far as to read the script... especially because the actual movie is going to be really different, as the script was a rough draft.
And there are other factors, but, like I said... politics. And her sister is totally obsessed with PotC, even though she's never seen either movie, which I find weird... my sister would die if she got that blanket. she absoluely loves jack. there's a life-size cut out of him at ourr school cuz its homecoming week and he's part of the adventure theme.
