Hmmm...People have refrained from using "ever" in "Would you ever...?" It's becoming more like the "If you were... would you have...?"

Erm..... I don't want to sound rude, but so what? As long as we're asking and answering qurestions of the sort, who cares how it's worded?

In answer to Esteleth's question (a good one by the way), I love Elves. I want to be one more than any other race. So I think, even if it meant having to see my family die, I would choose to become an Elf. There's always the chance I'd see them die if I chose to remain mortaal anyway. However, I would also give up my Immortality for the one I loved. (i.e. Arwen for Aragorn.)

If you were Gandalf, would you have made Sam go with Frodo or would you have turned him into something unnatural? :P

Hummmm....I would make him go, I guess. And to the above post^^ the game is called, "Would you EVER", so you really should put "Ever" in the question.

Would you ever go to Mordor?

No, I don't think so actually.

=> Would you ever give up a Quest like Frodo had, just because you were sure it would lead to your death, even when you knew you were the only one who could do it?

Of course, if he was a nice one like Gimli. It's what's inside that really matters.

About the whole "ever" thing: We'd run out of questions pretty fast if we just used "would you ever". I think as long as it's "would you have", we're ok. Even if it's "if you were...... would you have" because that contributes to the question. Gandalf would not do the same thing in the same situation as Pippin would for instance which is way we add the "if you were" part. No, as long as we're not going blatantly off topic, I think we're fine. Of course, I think it's best to use "would you ever" as much as possible when you can. Just my thoughts. No one has to listen to me. :)

Would you ever (;))have given up the Ring and left the Shire forever, like Bilbo did?

Oh, I don't have a problem with not using ever. It was just a comment...It is hard to think of an Ever question.

If I were Bilbo, I'd be more noble and of course I'd give up the Ring. But if I were ever to have the Ring, I'd *want* to fork it over, but I probably wouldn't have power to resist the Ring...or maybe the Ring wants to leave me, in which case, I'd lose it and end up stalking Frodo for it...or maybe I'm reading too much into this.

Would you ever become an Ithilien Ranger if it meant having Faramir as your captain (because Minas Tirith is so pretty--I don't think I'd have the heart to leave it, would you?)?

No way! If I wasn't with Aragorn, the ghosts would kill me! I think I'd have a better chance of sneaking past Isengard, especially since there's only one of me, rather than an army.

Would you ever swear the oath of Fëanor?

Nope! I generally make a point against swearing oaths of any sort possible.

Would you go to Rivendell if you were Boromir upon your father's request?

All by myself? Probably not, unless there was some very good reason for me too, one of my friends being in danger or something. Other than that, heck no! I'm not stupid, and I'm not overly fond of Moria.

Would you ever have gotten an eagle, rode up on him, and poked Sauron in the eye? :P Not really logical or possible, but I still think it'd be fun.
