I doubt it, unless it was poplulated by Dwarves instead of Goblins and Orcs....

Would you ever fight Sauron? Like, sword-to-mace?

No, I would prefer not to... don't like maces... scary, heavy, pointed objects!!

Would you have pushed Frodo into Mt. Doom, if that was the only way to destroy the Ring?

Yes.

Would you ever kill a friend rather than letting them be captured (by orcs or whatever)?

^Interesting answer Aerandir!

No I wouldn't kill my friend. As long as there you are alive there is hope. Although I might want to ask a friend to kill me, if I was to be taken captive (by orcs or whatever!)

Would you ever torture Gollum in order to get informations from him?

Hmm... hard one. I wouldn't ever want tot torture anyone. The only way I'd torture him is if the information he was witholding would somehow save someone I loved.

And Aerandir, I can't believe you said you'd kill Frodo. *is appalled* But I guess you're entitled to your own opinion.

Would you enter the gates of Minas Morgul alone?

Well, look at it this way T.T. If Aerandir didn't push Frodo, Sauron might have gotten his Ring back and that would be the end of Frodo - and the rest of ME anyway.... or Frodo would have become Dark Lord and that would also be the end of ME....lol

Your Believe fairy avatar is amazing, I like it very much... err... is she dying because people don't believe in her? Or is she just resting gracefully?!!

And no, I wouldn't dare entering the gate of Minas Morgul alone...

Would you ever eat Eowyn's stew?

 I'm not brave enough to try Eowyn's. Sam's looked quite tasty though.

There are other ways to stop Sauron from regaining the ring other than murder. If Frodo had been pushed into Mount Doom, I think I might just have to jump after him.

Thank you so much for the compliments on my avatar! Actually, I made it myself. I don't have photoshop or anything, just paint, but I liked the way it came out. I think you can see it as either way. I personally see it as her dying because people don't believe in her, but you can pick whichever you like. :)

Would you ever............ eat a fish "raw and wriggling"? Sorry, running out if ideas.....

*is only posting so she can get to carry on the interesting conversation with T.T in the disguise of a relevant post*

No.. at leats not wriggling... if I was hungry enough I might eat a raw fish, but I would make it stop wriggle first!!

True, there might have been other ways to get the Ring from Frodo.. I'm not denying the fact.. I just like being dramatic, lol!

I too prefer to see it like the fairy is dying because people don't believe in her.. it's very beautiful and reminds me of believing!! I don't do graphics at all, so I am easily impressed by others work. Where did you get the picture?

*cough*
Well... back in the game...

Would you ever have sworn allegiance to Denethor?

* is following Ea's lead and disguising her post as a relevant post in order to continue the conversation*

You just like being dramatic... lol.

I'm pretty easily impressed by other people's graphics too, since that avvie os about the extent of mine. If I had a better graphics program, I could do better stuff, but alas, I do not. I got the picture from deviantart. Typed in fairies, and hit search, and I cam up with this.
I definitely think there's a shortage of believers in this world. Most people give me a :confused2: kind of look when I tell them I believe in fairies. But I still do. Believe that is. Glad to have found someone who agrees! :)

By the way, I love the new Nazgul club banner! I laughed so hard when I saw it! Pass on the message to LDM for me, would you?

So..... I don't think I would have sworn allegiance to Denethor as I find him rather upleasant, although, I ambeginning to be quite defensive of him in another thread actually. Funny how things turn out.

Dying alongside the one you love, or living forever alone?

Who wants to live forever... who wants to live forever...?

Forever is a very long time to be alone... on the other side... I highly honour life... and I believe in hope as long as there is a life.. for myself or others. I would die alongside my love if it was my time...
(By the way, this is the 'This or that game' thread.. not the 'Would you ever...')

I believe in many things... when I am reminded *smiles* And I am most amazed that a fairy could replace a Frodo avatar... what is the world coming to? lol

I haven't read the Denethor thread, but although he appears a very unpleasant man in the movies, I am sure one could come to understand some of his motives if they tried to look at his life situation. Also, I strongly support when people can see things from different perspectives, even if they don't necessarily agree.

Glad you like our banner, thanks, it will please LDM. So will you give us cookies or suffer?

Umm I mean:

If you had one chance to go to Middle-earth, would you take it even if it meant going as an orc?

Definitely. Maybe I could manage to convince people that Orcs are just misunderstood and misguided individuals. :P They were once Elves you know.
By the way I think you meant to say that this is the "would you ever" thread rather than the "this or that" thread. and darn. I always try not to mix those two up. Sorry everyone.
I would never want to live forever, especially without someone I loved. I was just curious because some people value life about everything else. There are things worth dying for.
I know! I love the Frodo avatar! But he's still there in my banner, see? I'm rtying to keep something Frodo at all times. I just wanted to put up a different avvie for a change.
You can definitely understand some of his motives, and some of his actions become excusable if you look more closely. I'll save it for that thread though.
I will surrender the cookies by all means. :P Suffering is never a pleasant alternative. Besides, I like baking.

Would you ever........ drink the water in Mordor?

Lol, apparently I confuse the threads as well!!
And yes, I could easily pull an elaborated defense for the orcs... life has too many colors to see it only in black and white *smiles* Perhaps when if the right time occurs... 'choose your battles' as they say!

Ze Nazgûl lovesss cookiessss. You shall be spared, pathetic mortal. *coughdramaqueencough*
By the way, kudos passed on to LDM :P

No... I wouldn't drink the water in Mordor... only sip it a little... if I was very very very thirsty....

Would you ever get a LotR tattoo? (and if yes, what should it be of?)

i have a general dislike of permanent tatoos, as they're stuck there forever without extremely expensive and painful surgery. Besides, when you get older, it gets all wrinkly and disgusting. :P It's not so bad to get a small, tasteful, not extremely visible one though. Maybe something in Elvish. Frodo lives or something....... :P.
Many thanks for passing on the kudos. ;)

Would you ever............ stand in the middle of a busy street, dressed as Gandalf and bellow "You cannot pass!" as the beeping cars?

Um....I don't know. I'd have to be in the right mood.

Why is it hard to believe I'd push Frodo in? Actually, I'd probably tackle him and take us both in. Think of it this way. I don't push Frodo (and the Ring) in, and he either loses it to Sauron or becomes a Dark Lord, in which case Middle-earth is under another darkness, and many, many people will die. Or, I could push him in, and while one person dies, many, many people live. One person lives and lots die or One person dies and Lots live?

Would you ever push Frodo (and the Ring!) in if there was no other way to destroy the Ring?
