My sister looked at me really weird when i screamed at her not to change the channel...but, yeah, I was excited. Eragon doesn't look too bad, but Saphira is pretty different than I imagined her. And Arya's red hair! Ugh. It looks even worse on film.

I have not read about Durza yet. I just read the part when Murtagh and Eragon resuce Arya, and Eragon and Saphira figure out how to make water from the earth. I loooove Murtagh!! he looks so great in the flim!

I'm re-reading it slowly... school is certainly taking its toll on how fast I can read things...

Lol. I just started reading Eragon Sunday night, (it's now Tues. day night where I am), and I am more than half-way done with the book.

I read it in I think two days last summer... But school is, as I said, really slowing me down.

Have ye guys seen all the new piccies and high-quality television spot Shur'tugal posted? I'm excited! It's about time a bunch of official stills were released...

My verdict so far:

Brom - excellent, excellent
Murtagh - w00t! I'm lovin' him...
Hrothgar - wait, isn't he supposed to be a dwarf? Why doesn't he look short?
Ajihad - good, good
Nasuada - good
Eragon himself - eh, sometimes he looks good, sometimes whiny little twit
Katrina - aah so pretty! Perfect! ...but she's prettier than Arya. Double-plus ungood.
Roran - well, after getting over the first shock of his looking like Eragon's twin, he looks ok...I guess...
The twin - ooh, perfect
Galbatorix - since he never actually...appears in the book...never pictured him...so whatever
Durza - creepy. Still pictured him as younger.
Angela - UM!!! Very strange...actually not TOO bad, but still...very strange...what's with the eyes???
Saphira - hmm...pretty good. Not very BLUE, and looks kinda CGI sometimes, but not bad.
Arya - ehhh...she looks almost halfway decent in a few pictures, but I hate the feathers and WHY OH WHY did they have to make her hair that color...

Oh, but on that topic, I think I might have figured out why she's in a tube top. It seems like that's the outfit she's wearing when she's transporting Saphira's egg and is caught, and she WAS wearing a cloak over her sort of protective-undergarment-thing, but the cloak was taken from her when she was captured....? It doesn't seem like she intentionally went out with just the corset-thing on...

Aargh. I'm really disappointed. I like costuming and will never outgrow dress up, and Katrina was one of two characters that I thought I could potentially look like! Grr. Now they've ruined her. I had a very specific image. She and Princess Leia were the only two whose hair I could possibly get close to. *sheepish grin*

Okay. I'm done. Granted, Katrina is very pretty, but I'm still sad. Murtagh is a bit scary, Angela is terrifying. Uuugh.

Oh my, Angela is my favorite character from the book, she's so awesome...and now....now....I'm a bit....put off by how they are portraying her in the movie...soo much eye makeup...*sniffle*

Well, the pictures still got me excited for the movie, oo pretty horses, beautiful scenary..

Hehe, Arya has feather's in her hair, it reminds me of Pochontas....
