Thanks! Merrin's a fun one to play, she's sort of...naive. She does stupid things, I guess is what I mean Not extremely good at planning ahead, which can prove unfortunate. I don't like playing really smart characters who do everything right, that's no fun. They've got to have flaws.

Just for reference, I'm not a hge fan of action RPs...I mean, there's got to be SOME action, but interesting dialogue and a captivating plot are a MUST.

lol! My favorite kind of role play... Wow. that is really hard... LotR is fun - of course - But I also like non lotr, mainly rpgs that are completely on their own, so to speak. Something entirely new, new worlds, new races, powers, people. The whole shabang. I don't really care for PotC or any other kind of movie rpg... I don't know why, really. *shrugs*

My least favorite RPGs would be ones that have Canon characters being played in them. Those get on my nerves big time.

My favorite ones are ones with a good plot, and big posts, and well-written characters. Short posts get on my nerves.

And I agree with you, Aerandir, canon characters and RPGs do NOT mix. No one does them justice! I have 'controlled' so to speak, different canon charries on occasion, but I never plan to play a canon character throughout the entire RP.

And I am guilty of many short posts, so I really cant complain.

And to bring something from the last couple of pages up, I agree with you Meldawen! I check all the rpgs I'm in ALLLLLL day long, ever hour if I can. I asked my sisters (Elven Archer and Kelenloth) The other day if they had ever been in an RPG. They said no.

I feel ashamed of them.... lol, jk. Kel 'n EA.

Action rpgs are one of my favorite also, though it seems we don't get a lot of those around here. I'd have to say fantasy, since fantasy's my element.
