Well, the thread is labelled 'spoiler warning' after all :innocent:

Lol, Arwen, at least you didn't say too much now, though you did get to indirectly imply a lot... If I like the movie I might get around to read the books as well... some times... when shool is over forever and I buy my own little island just left of Bahamas and can spend the days swinging casually in the hammock, sipping multi-coloured drinks...
*sighs dreamingly*

*Wonders where all the cash for that will come from* Ah well, I guess we can all dream!

I don't know what you think is so bad about Saphira, Dark...she could have been a whole lot worse, and I actually like her quite a bit.

I hope they don't mess up the character. She was my very favorite in the book. At least I'm happy with her voice. :) She doesn't look as good as she might, but oh well. The personality is more important to me, as always.

Maybe I should have said that one's view of Murtagh depends on one's point of view and what WILL happen in Book 3...since no one really knows yet...anyway...

I'm happy enough with Saphira, except I think she should have been more blue, unless it's my computer screen that's making all the pictures of her look gray-brown. I guess I never had a precise mental image of her, so anything realisticly-dragonish enough they came up with would have been fine by me.

Eh, I have a feeling it is going to be oh so original... Murtagh and Eragon fight. Eragon deals Murtagh a mortal wound, thus breaking Galbatorix's hold on him and allowing him to whisper some incredibly sappy cliche before he dies.

He might even, with his last gasping breath, whisper "My brother...my captain...my king."

:laughbounce:

THEN we could have no problem accusing CP of copying Tolkien :p

Haha AF...that made me giggle

But Eragon is the protagonist, the hero, the One, aye?
Why would Murtagh (which I don't know who is by the way) be more popular?

Because we all think he's hot :teehee: Er, better-looking than Eragon, at least. You know, the tall-dark-handsome fellow.

See, this is Eragon: http://galleries.shurtugal.com/displayi ... m=87&pos=9 - kinda cute, looks very boyish

Whereas this is Murtagh: http://galleries.shurtugal.com/displayi ... =87&pos=34 - *cough* yeah. 'nuff said.

:-D

*coughs* *thinks Eragon looks very nice*

Ah Arwen, that made me laugh! And I don't really even know why...
I must say, I love both of them. But Murtagh has such an interesting backstory, and overcame so much, and even becomes a Dragon Rider! So he is just cool. And even though they messed up the movie a lot, I still want to see it! Maybe it's the curiosity.

He's not bad-looking...he just...looks so...young :erm: Plus he has a very square-pointy jaw which looks a bit odd in some pictures. And he pouts a lot. But other than he's perfectly fine  I just prefer Murtagh :teehee:

Eragon's hair is a completely different colour in the books though! Yeah I kind of prefer Murtagh (even if he does look a little emo ;) )

*giggle* Without having read the book, I could imagine that happening....
