Quote: I love bagpipes, Sidawethiel! I don't think many ppl play them here in America. lol. Are they hard to play?
I know quite a few people in Bagpipe Bands around the United States, so I always find it suprising when people think I play an unusual instrument. I do have to admit, you have to have lots of upper body strength to play the bagpipes...blowing and squeezing, blowing and squeezing....crazyness.. I have to admit it's fun though!

Violin is the best. I teach violin. I've been playing since I was 4, and I love it to pieces.
Unusual, hmm, I play... the radio? That count?
I also play pan flute a bit, and that's a tad unusual.
I also consider *truly* playing electric guitar a bit odd, but most don't.

Uhhmm..
I currently play the Piano (grade 9, w00t)
I used to play the Recorder (the school curriculum forced me to)
I used to play the Sopranino recorder for band
I tried the Trumpet
I played the Erhu for a while
I played a Violin for a period of time
My sister is teaching me how to play a Guitar
And.. I'm currenly starting on the Practice chanter, which will eventually lead me to playing the bagpipes.. if I can manage.

It's this Chinese instrument that's really similar to a violin/fiddle.. but it has only two strings.

Uh... Does playing two recorders (At the same time) with my nose count? It was the only instrument I every tried to play, and much more fun to play strangely.

Eh, it's not that hard. Doesn't sound too great, but it's possible.

I play penny whistle, harmonica, Chair, balloon, and plate that are unusual instruments. In fact, we have a whole chair orchestra.
My sister is *supposed* to be teaching me to play the chanter anyway, the learning step to the bagpipes.

I'm not very fun, I only play piano, but I do love it!
I used to play the oboe though That's pretty unique I guess...
I'd LOVE to play violin, but for some reason my mom is refusing to let me
