Please can I join? I love Edmund - he's my favourite character from the chronicles of narnia! I guess it's because I can relate to him more than the other Pevensies.

Oh, thanks very much! I have Mrs. Gamgee to thank for the "Check The Gate" one. :D And Claris from Drifting Designs for the other one.

I have a ridiculous amount of Edmund ones, so the "Check the Gate" one is a bit of a change. ;) Ha ha ha

*pokes sleeping club with a stick*

Is it alive?

And can I join?

I completely identify with Ed, btw, probably more so than any other book character.

AH ha! This thread lives! You know, I was thinking about reviving all the clubs I've created or joined (that haven't been...revived) but then I got distracted. Ha ha ha! Stupid finals!

And yes, you can join! I always love adding members! I know how you feel about identifying with Ed; I'm the same as well! He's just probably the most real character (if you know what I mean) in the Chronicles of Narnia. All the others seemed too...perfect. And probably the one character out of all the books I've read to identify with as much as I did. :) YAY for EDMUND! :)

*scurries off to add FM to list*

Indeed, yay for Ed! I LOVE how in The Vogage of the Dawn Treader, it shows how Edmund is now changed [in the fact that Aslan has forgiven him, and he can be a warrior and a noble man] and yet, as to personality, he hasn't changed a bit, haha! He's still the same teasing, fun-loving, and easily annoyed Ed. :)

Yeah, I know. Never lost that fun side! :D Ha ha ha...but the fact that he did change, became more quiet and thoughtful (I can't remember the exact wording that is used), is for me evidence that Edmund is the most "real" character. I just can't really think of other characters that "changed" like that.

Su's club was revived, and so it gave me the urge to revive this one too. :P

Anyhow, he WAS a good king in The Horse and His Boy. I love the way they talked. He's good in all the books, but VotDT is my favorite with him: cannot WAIT until they make that into a movie. :D

But anyhow, who cried on one of the Ed scenes in LWatW? *raises hand* I then scorned myself for crying, but to this day I still tear up a bit on that scene (where Aslan forgives him.)

Oh, and another thing, Edmund has the BEST line out of all the Narnia books! (or at least the one that makes me laugh the hardest.

"Bother!" said Edmund. "I've left my new torch in Narnia."
