Well, I just saw it and I was heavily disappointed.
It was a fairly good movie, but it strayed from the book far to much. I also think that the movie was to dark, not in a evil kind of way, but in a lighting kind of way. I can't even begin to state all the things that made me mad and upset.
Also, anyone else think that Durza is just Wormtongue on crack?

Not Razac, Varden. I was a tad bit confused.
Did anyone else get the feeling that.... the locations were a bit... "half-done"? They were beautiful, but they did have that WOW, fantasy factor to it? I wish I could say that I was Wow'd when they opened the doors to the outside of the Varden homes but.... I wasn't. It was beautiful but.... not wow-ish. Y'know?
And I agree with Ms.Gamgee. To be, character develop is the key, and if the directory isn't willing to kill time trying to develop characters it's not going to fly at all.

Went to the cinema and watched it today with my brother.
I'd give it 8/10 for now.
I'll write more later on, I'm a bit tired.

I still think Durza is Wormtongue on crack...

^I agree. My sister was like "you know, Brad Dourif really could have played Durza. It's just his kind of role."
I have really mixed feelings about the movie, and am trying not to be swayed by everyone else...

Here is my idea:
Good about movie:
1) Saphira!!!! As a baby, she was so cute and awesome, and I loved how real she looked.
2) All the places. They looked so much how the book descibed, they where perfect.
3) The music. It was awesome!!!!
4) Murtagh!!!! He's just awesome... and so so so so so so hot.
Bad things about movie:
1) It was in a contast fast-forward mode!!!!! Needs at least 2 and a half more hours added on.
2) Not close to the book at all!
3) No twins
4) No Jerod(sp?) in Teirm
5) No Katrina and Roran
6) Not enough Brom and Murtagh
7) Not enough backround info
*) Again, fast foward mode!!!!!
9) Eragon didn't shoot Durza...Murtagh was supposed to!!!!!!
Okay, sorry, had to let that out. But, in short, what they made of the movie was awesome, but they left out way too much for my liking. It's really going to hurt Movie 2 of how much they left out!!!
Sorry that was so long. Really had to let that out! Thanks for listening. And I will try not to rant anymore! Thanks!
