Qui-gon was Obi-wan's Master, Meldawen.

However, if he's not going to be featured in the plot, then I don't really think it matters how much you know about him....^_^

 True! Though I think some people such as Yoda and Windu would be a bit nessisary if you want to do a SW RPG... Sense their about the most important people on the council and all...

Well no, I'm just sayin'... :P

I originally got the idea from a series of fanfics of the time (They were focused on Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon though) Written by two girls (I'm not sure how old they were at the time, they are around 19 or 20 now... But they were the first and only authors I have ever seen yet that do Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, and Yoda their rightful justice. But they do like torture fics. Some of them have the lights symptoms of a MS, but they're really good. :D

hmmmm.....a fanfic that does Obi-wan, Qui-gon, and Yoda justice? Kind of hard to imagine, unless it was by Jude Watson... :D

Though seriously I don't really read Star Wars fanfic....mostly it's just RPGs.

 Yeah, well, my sis showed me an LotR series that she wouldn't shut up about, and it was pretty good... But they authors also wrote a series called 'The Apprentice Years' which is the one I just told you about.

Yeah, same here. A lot of fanfics make me cringe, though I do admit there are some good ones out there. And I do enjoy parodies.

Parodies are always good becuase well... they're parodies! You expect them to be stupid and unrealistic, so.... yeah. While real fanfics... There is probably one good one for ever 10 billion horrible ones. I do admit that I read them just to get a laugh when I am bored sometimes. But I avoide romances.. for many reasons... *hides from Legolas pairings* MS! MS!!! MS!!!!!

*Does the same*
I don't like it when the authors change the course of events or add somthing in. *glares at everybody who has ever added a girl to the fellowship* (except to that author who wrote the parody about Legolas actually being a girl. That was funny.)

I hate it when authors do that. I abhor it. It is so incredibly annoying. There's no way the Fellowship could ever make it to Mordor if all the fangirls had characters in it....there'd be several million of them at least. And they'd all rely on Legolas or Aragorn to save them when the Orcs came.

Lol, actually that's kind of a funny thought....Legolas and Aragorn side by side, with a million fan girls hiding behind them from the Orcs. Lol.

 that is a funny picture... Though I see them running away from the fangirls, letting them be devoured by orcs... :P The annoying little things..

The funny thing is, everyone who writes them thinks they're completely original. "Wow, why don't I do a story where a girl joins the Fellowship? How new!"

I read MS-Legolas pairings when I'm depressed...they make me laugh...
