I have read them 8 times!!!!!!!! Wheeee!!!!!!! *Spins around in his own LOTR-obsessed world* 9 times for the Fellowship because I am reading them again-1/2 through Two Towers...

I have read the Hobbit 7 times, and the Sil twice. I have also read The Complete Guide To Middle-earth, Weapons and Warfare, The Atlas of Middle-earth, the Origins Of Tolkien's Middle-earth For Dummies, and many other books by and about Tolkien multiple times.

I've been reading the book every year now since I was 14 (I'm 29 now) so multiple times. At least once a year, sometimes two or three times. This year is the first year I've not managed to read it at all. Having a baby kinda plays tricks with your mind. But hopefully I can get back into the swing of things really soon. I really miss reading it.

Also I want to start reading The Hobbit to my daughter when she's a little bit older. Start em young I say. :)
