There's rumours of an Avengers live action movie. So if things worked out you could have Robert Downey Jnr as Iron Man, whoever gets to play Captain America. I suppose not really what you meant though.
:duh:

No, not really. I mean like the X-men appearing in a Fantastic Four movie, or vice-versa.

I'm not too sure if it would work. Too many movie execs fighting for there characters to get the spotlight. I guess you have to have the actors all agree to it as well.
Tis a shame though, as I'd love to see Marvel crossover movies.

I saw the trailer for this movie last night. However, I really didn't consider it a "trailer", it was more like a scene from the movie. I'm excited to see this film, but was disapointed by the trailer. Awww well!

Hmm...now I wonder why I thought Phoenix would have started this topic...hmm...;)

I haven't seen the trailer yet, but the recommendations of our Phoenix here, are enough to make me think this film is going to be good. :-) I really liked the first one for what it was - not an Oscar winning classic, but a good, enjoyable fun film, that fills an empty couple of hours. My only complaint was the female of the last film, Jessica Alba? Not only did she look un-scientific to me but I can't imagine Ioan being remotely attracted to that sort of person. *sniffs in a very snooty way* :P

It's not a trailer, it's a teaser. A small sample of what's to come, and from what we get I'm stoked. I couldn't wish for Surfer to look much better. I also doubt that's the whole scene. It's far too disjointed.

JF: :P you know me too well. The first movie was just a 'get to know the characters' type thing. This one is going to be so much more than that....and well, it has Silver Surfer, Galactus and a more comic book like Doom. That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Sue doesn't look very scientific in the comics either. Well, not in more modern times anyways. Jessica captured the heart of Sue, that's what made the casting work for me.

Well...she is hott.... :D

I can't wait for this movie to come out--not just because Jessica Alba is in it, mind you--because the Silver Surfer looks great so far. I just hope they don't totally foul up on some part and wreck the movie.

:-D

I think the thing that worries me as much as it excites me, is Galactus. I hope they don't feel they have to change him too much, even physically.
If I don't see this: Image I shall have to hunt down Tim Story and torture him mercilessly.

And I'll help you do it, too.

I wonder who they'll pick to play him....(or if they'll decide to make him CGI)

I'm hoping it's all CGI,or at the very least partially. But they need someone with or that is capable of doing a really deep imposing voice. Much like James Earl Jones did for Darth Vader.

Yeah, that would be okay. But they wouldn't need to make it entirely CGI--he does look fairly human without his....suit/uniform/costume on.

Aye, I do. ;) I think I need to watch it again, but sadly we don't own it. :-( I loved the Thing and the relationship between him and Johnny (see, I remembered their names yay!). It was funny. :P It was also a less serious film than X-men and Spiderman which made a nice change.

Ok, I'm biased. :P I'm used to watching Ioan on British TV and in small film roles, so when he got his first big lead...*sigh*..I was hoping he'd do well...but...no female is worthy... :annoyed:

He was in King Arthur, too...I would call that a lead--he was in the top 3 characters. So, kind of a lead, I guess. They tried to make it into one.

But didn't F4 come first? I always thought it did.

I think King Arthur came out in 2004. I don't remember when F4 came out....maybe it was before it. My memory is pretty bad for remembering when most movies came out if I wasn't already looking forward to them.

Fantastic Four came after King Arthur in 2005.
I can never remember dates and years either, so I checked that info on IMDB.com.
