I had a brief glance at the And Legends Became Real... RPG. It looks quite interesting. Are you inspired by Tamora Pierce by any chance?

Actually, it looks like the non-LotR RPGs are more active than the LotR ones. I believe we have discussed this before, and it was generally agreed that there is only this much you can do within the limits of Middle-earth.. but wouldn't it be the same with SW and PotC? I'm just wondering because I think it's a pity...

The thing that gets me about LotR RPs is that it's so easy to do them badly. And when that happens I just get annoyed and it's not fun anymore. It's difficult to make them, Elves especially, how Tolkien imagined them, and lots of people just can't do it. Me included, quite frankly. So it's very rare that a LotR RP comes along that I like and that I feel good about RPing in, just because I'm picky that way.

And this is a relatively new opinion for me, I've changed it in the last four or five months

I tend to agree Meldawen... I feel a lot of people don't get behind the pretty looks of elves and down to where it gets interesting, so the elves end up being hollow, dull characters flicking their pretty, blonde hair and whacking some orcsesss...

Raven, I must admit, I didn't read much of the RP, but perhaps I'll look over it again. It has quite alot of pages compared to many others!

*sigh* Once again, and everyone posts alot while I'm gone. Anyway...... I know this is more along the lines of fanfiction stuff, but would anyone here like to be my beta reader? I'm writing a fic, and I'm not all that experienced when it comes to having people read and review fics... I ussually keep them to myself. And as a result, I have some little tweeks to smooth out...

woot! I'm back!
I'm terribly excited because I'm finally going to see Eragon tomorrow as a birthday present to myself. I had quite a lot of RP reading to do, lol
