Ooh.. group dances? The Cell Block Tango was good, but I also liked the one where they were all dressed up like zombie kind of people. Too bad I can't remember the name. Gah! I sound so loquacious... *sarcasm*

Speaking of Dmitry... loved him! I was sad to see him go, but I think it was for the best.

Ivan... *sob* Love 'im... he was getting so good too.

Ivan was really great. I think he was good at his style from the beginning, but he also improved greatly on the styles he didn't know to begin with, which is great

Ramalama Bang Bang! That's the one! Loved it!

Ivan could have definitely won an award for most improved dancer on the show. He came in barely knowing anything about dancing other than the kind he knew how to do. It was amazing the way he matured and grew up on the show. Personally, I was very proud of him. He was completely changed when he left.

Did any of us here watch the season from start to finish? I started watching when they got down to the top 20.

I watched some of the auditions, but at the beginning I didn't find it very interesting, but I watched it every now and then. I didn't start really watching it until there were like, 16 left or something. I'm not sure - might have been the top 20...

I <i>almost</i> missed the final. My friend was celebrating her birthday, at the very same time the very same day. But I didn't feel entirely well that day, and also I'd halfly forgotten it until the same morning, so I couldn't go. It was sad to miss her birthday, but I must admit that missing SYTYCD would've been MUCH, MUCH worse

The finale wasn't so great for me actually. I only had one real "favourite" in the top 4 group, so it just wasn't as fun. If Ivan and Allison had been up there though... woo, that would have been intense!

I actually knew that Benji was going to win before I saw the final... This because they showed it in Norway long after it was finished in the US, and a friend of mine had found a website which said that Benji was the winner. It was a bit of a drawback, but I watched it all anyway, cause I wanted to see my Travis and how far he came.

Bloody spoilers! I was seriously thinking that Travis was going to win, no doubt about it. Boy was I wrong! It came as a complete shock.

Oh, I want in on this! I loved both Travis and Benji... I think Travis was the better dancer by far, but Benji was really charismatic. But... alas, my favorite... IVAN. He actually came from Seattle, I believe, my hometown (sort of, I don't live in Seattle) and I actually saw him dance before SYTYCD. Actually, I guess you could say I knew him. A lot of mutual friends of mine danced with him. And the dance Ivan and Allison did... "Why." It made me shiver. Wow.


And I am the die-hard fan, I watched every episode and have it taped. I am a dancer, if you haven't realized by now.

But I definitely agree, Ivan and Allison together was amazing. Allison definitely brought out something in Ivan that no one else was able to find. They were spectacular together. It was as if Ivan had matured in a split second.. I was crying by the end of the dance.

Hey did anyone else know about this supposed "fling" between Dmitry and Natalie? [was that her name?] They mentioned it at the finale, but I hadn't heard anything about it before..

I was shuddering at the end of that dance. "Why" was so passionate...


And yes, there was a fling between the two, I don't know anymore about it than you do, though, I'm afraid.
