Anna Karenina, by Leo Tolstoy. I'm really enjoying it, actually.

Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Book one, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. It's so beautifully written! I love it!

Rosencratz and Guildenstern are Dead. pretty interesting. I like how it ties back to Hamlet, and the amount of philosophising that's in the simplest thoughts.

ACK! Oh my god! That's one of the most brilliant plays ever written! Such GENIUS! I own it...and read it whenever I need a laugh. But I agree...the philosophy by two minor characters is SO interesting! Too bad it had to end badly. You should see the movie. Has Gary Oldman in it!

ooh, I've read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It was hysterical. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the movie, though.
I'm still reading FotR again, so I don't have anything new to say about that...

ah, hitchhiker's is amazing! i've read the entire trilogy of five (and no that's not a typo - apparantly douglas adams couldn't count) and i love it.
i'm still reading the book of lost tales vol 1. i got very excited when it said that tolkien originally planned for tol eressea to be england, and that kortirion was based on warwick, cuz i live in england and i've been to warwick.
