Yes but only if I knew that the Fellowship memebers would be behind me (just in case Saruman found out that it was a fake and had it out for me. lol)

Yes. Legolas would go crazy over all the little animals (reason enough)  , all of them would probabley have a pretty good time, and I would love to see them all together again. Plus I might like to go myself since I've never been. lol
