I started watching because this is the first season of Lost that has come on after I watched LotR. So when I read that Dom was on it I just Had to check it out. Well, if nothing else you did like him in season one and most of season two, so...(high fives MontanaBohemian) While I'm talking to you I just had to make a comment on something you said a few pages back. You said something about Harry Potter's Snape being alot like Lost's Juliet...well, I like Snape so I guess now I have to like Juliet. You, know I agree with you she sort of is like a female Snape...yep now I have to be a fan of hers. (high fives MontanaBohemian) Yay for Snape and Juliet!
Lol, I admit my interest in LOST was because of Dominic Monaghan, if he hadn't been in it I wouldn't have watched it (although it was my mum and brother who said I should watch it). But I can't honestly say I'm watching it for him anymore. I think I'm disappointed that the only British survivor is a bit..... ...annoying....
Hmm.....I can't relate to the Snape/Juliet thing really. I think the Others like Juliet and respect her, it seems to be just Ben she has a problem with, and when she does things differently from Ben, that's when the Others have a problem with her. I actually think at the moment Ben is the Snape character - everything is trying to make us believe he's bad (Snape) but I think he's just misunderstood (Snape)._________________

And I agree wtih JF about the Snape/Juliet thing as well. I really don't think Juliet is like Snape, because well....Snape is just...Snape! And I don't think Juliet is like that And I hate Snape  But Ben might be kind of like Snape...I don't know  _________________

Although, I suppose, when you have Locke on your ass...and your experiencing withdrawl symptoms...you can't get a bit crazy. Alas! I just want him in a bloody episode this season!! GRR! Well, I suppose he was in that one with Locke...when Locke was having like...hallucinations. Ha ha ha. And he couldn't talk...and then Boone showed up.  Dom was pretty hysterical in that one. But I think that's the only one he was really in...unless the one where that pole got struck by lightening was a different episode. GAH! I just need to do some re-watching.
Jeez, I can't believe you all took my Snape metaphor so...so... seriously.  Ha ha ha! *feels strangely powerful and persuasive...  *
I really meant that Juliet (and I suppose now some of the other...Others... ) was like Snape in the idea that we don't know if he's good or bad. Or both. You know, there have been countless arguments that after what Snape did in Book 6 is proof that he's purely evil and is working for Voldemort. While others still argue that he's on the good-guys' side. (Personally, I think he has his own agenda and could care less about either side... ) THAT'S what I mean about Juliet being like Snape. Which, inevitably makes her pretty dang cool. We just don't have a grasp on her...or any of the Others. Well, that's my theory. My theory that we know nothing! Ha HA! _________________ "So what? Well, if I remember correctly, they WERE ignoring him...and acting like he was a helpless child that was in the way. I'd be a bit annoyed too. In fact, I've been in that position many times. Well, I haven't been stuck on an island with a heroine addiction. And I just think Locke is crazy. Ever since he was mean to my...my Charlie...I haven't liked him that much. But to each their own, I suppose. If no one else wants the drug addict, more for moi!

Dude, I thought the whole, Charlie teaming up with Sawyer was one of the coolest things ever! Ha ha ha!
