No, it wasn't me. I think they have some kind of magic mind control ability... look at what happened the other night with Starlight.

Aw shucks tim4x.

My friends were talking about hot piano players today, and I started spacing out in a daydream about Matt. It was very nice. Definitely the hottest piano player. Ever. And the sweatiness adds to the hotness.

My phys-ed teacher went to college with my dad, so it's a little weird/creepy. But let's not talk about that creepiness in our beloved Muse thread.

Hey Dark! I'm glad that you seem to have caught the obsession. Beware thoguh. Muse = extreme addiction.

Really? I thought more people would know them. They seem kinda big. But maybe that's just my insane love for them talking.

That's as is should be. You're the one who gets to meet him. I'm lucky you even offered to do either of those things for me. So yes. Good list. Priorities are in the right order.

I'm glad you like it. :teehee:

Hmm.... I don't know about that. I'll have to listen to it again and see if you're right. *goes to listen*

'Tis true.

Definitely the hottest. I doubt he's going to play the piano when he comes here though. *Sadness*

Creepy.

Muse = death grip on your mind. :P:

They're huge in the UK, not so much in the US. Why else would they only be opening for MCR? I hope this is able to get them well known enough that they come here by themselves for their next album. *Daydreams*

*Is happy you're happy* I'll do my very best to at least tell him how much you love him

It's brilliant. We just need to be careful not to hurt him in any way during the kidnapping... and we might as well take Chris and Dom too. Muse isn't Muse without all three.

Am I right?

Reasons I Love Matt Bellamy
-He has ze voice of an angel :P
-Even when he performs live
-He plays guitar
-And piano
-He's insanely hot
-And even hotter when he's sweaty
-But hottest when playing the piano while sweaty
-He writes his own lyrics
-His hair is awesome
-He can actually pull off a cleft chin
-He can pull of a cleft chin AND leather pants at the same time
-While falling through space :teehee:
-And singing
-He's British
-He doesn't do hard drugs
-But he does do magic mushrooms
-He isn't an egotistical jerk who takes himself way too seriously
-He likes to dress up in funny outfits
-And somehow still looks hot while dressed like a dork
-He loves italian food
-He draws on himself
-He has an immensely entertaining "Sex Face"
-He's an atheist
-He has problems with our screwed up governments
-His vocal chords are unusually small
-Which is why he is able to do that freaking awesome falsetto
-He is hilariously random (See below)
-The rest of this list is available by PM only...

Now for some interviews with everyone's favorite Matt!

Fan: "Matt, tell me something about yourself so I can stop having all these sexual fantasies about you."
Matt: "My feet absolutely stink and it's offensive for everyone to be around. On the rider I get a new pair of socks every day and I throw away old socks every day and I spray in my shoes and wash my feet."
Dom: "They really do stink."
Matt: "Also I am ridiculously thin. And short."

Interviewer: "Hey, Matt, what's your plug in baby?"
Matt: "My plug in baby is my own physical body. I'm using it objectively a bit more these days. I'm not in it, I'm sort of using it. I can't explain what I mean. I make it do things now that I used to be worried about. What is it? I don't know. It's like I am my own ventriloquist. Oh, I can't remember. Help me!"
Dom: "You've said it before. You've said, 'Blah, blah, blah, and that's my plug in baby'."
Matt: "I've explained what the meaning of it is, but I don't know what it is. It's definitely myself, I think. [to Dom] Do you think we've lost it in the last few weeks? Just *beep* blown it?"
Interviewer: "Now, is it true, because i was told that you said Plug in Baby was about genetically engineering puppies to live forever. Did you say that?"
Matt: "I say alot of things"
Groupie fan guy in crowd wearing an Absolution t-shirt: "What does plug in baby mean?"
Matt: "Oh *beep*! Ummm... It means... errr... [to Dom] Help me out. Erm It means... what does it mean? Ummm I can't remember sorry."
Matt: "It is about how we project our emotions from our innerselves into technologies around us. 'Plug In Baby' is like a made up term for 'that thing we do. I think in a generation of pretty much athanism and none spiritual times technology becomes a way of feeling connected to people"

Matt: "We were all off our faces on mushrooms when we recorded Plug In Baby... There was this big field next to the recording studio filled with them. So we ate them all. I don't know what we were doing, but we all ended up naked in a jacuzzi and i went deaf in one ear from falling asleep in the sauna..."
^Excuse me while I die of laughter...

 Thanks.

It would be nice to see him playing piano, but be satisfied that you get to see him at all, unlike the rest of us poor people. He's hot when he's sweaty and playing guitar too.

Very creepy. *shudders*

Good way to put it. They do completely take control of your mind. i feel brainwashed. And it's a good thing. :P A very good thing.

*cough*Idon'tlikeMCR*cough* I think Muse is a bajillion times better and should defintiely be the main act, but knowing that you also love MCR, I shall refrain from further comments on the subject and not make you say that you like one better than the other.

Cool. I feel special.
Very true. Muse isn't Muse without all three. I was considering addressing the letter to all three of them rather than just Matt. Besides, I think Dom's pretty hot as well.

You were right. I'm listening to Plug In Baby right now actually. LOVE it.

That list is awesome!!! I'll have to specially request the rest of it by PM. Very good. I should make one of those.

  I LOVE that man! Seriously, he's completely amazing. Even more amazing than I previously thought him, if that's possible. I nearly peed myself when I read that the first time.
Magic mushrooms.....:P

By the way tim4x, what kind of crazy, drugged up person did you get that new quote in your sig from? They must have been very messed up. :P

I'm satisfied. VERY satisfied. SO FREAKING SATISFIED THAT I KEEP BREAKING INTO FITS OF "OH MY GOD I'M SEEING MUSE LIVE!" :P

I don't understand why it seems like every phys-ed teacher is overweight.

Indeed. I suddenly <3 brainwashing.

Muse IS a bajillion times better and SHOULD be the main act. I like MCR a lot but I'm going to the concert mostly for Muse, as I love then a million times more then I love MCR.

Can we force Chris to go on a diet after we kidnap him? And yes, Dom is pretty hot. I need to find that swimming pool picture of him again...

I like being right. I actually only realized its awesomeness after seeing the video

You should. I'd love to read yours.

"Also I am ridiculously thin. And short" gets me every time, as does "I was told that you said Plug in Baby was about genetically engineering puppies to live forever. Did you say that?" "I say alot of things"

Of course now I'm not going to be able to see a jacuzzi or mushrooms without breaking into hysterics. :teehee:

OH MY GOD! YOU'RE SEEING MUSE LIVE!!!!!
Yep. I'd say it's satisying. I wish I could say it with you. I'd be so satisfied that I'd probably shout it from the tops of tall buildings and constantly wear a shirt that said "I'm seeing Muse live!" in public.

Oh. Mine isn't overweight. But enough about phy-ed teachers. It's freaking me out.

I'm listening to Sing For Absolution. I love this song so much. I really need to go watch the video again. Astronaut Matt is mine after all. :P

Brainwashing is a very good thing. At least the way Muse does it.

Oh. Good then. :P I don't have to worry about insulting you when I say that Muse is WAY more awesome. Because they are. I'm glad you agree.

Chris isn't that fat. He could do with losing a bit of weight though. So I suppose we could do that. Dom actually reminds me a little weensy bit of this kid I know in real life. I'll tell you about him in a PM or something.... Dom reminds me of him a little. Swimming pool picture? Sounds dreamy. Twould be better if it was of Matt though.

I guess it's one of thosse ones you really don't think of listening to and then you watch the video and it's like, "Hey. This song rocks." Like I said, the guitar in it is AMAZING.

Maybe I will. Not this weekend though probably. Sooooo much stuff to do. :(

I'm going to have to join you on the breaking into hysterics whenever you see a jacuzzi or mushrooms. It's unavoidable now. All part of Matt's brainwashing charms.

Ooh. The end of Eternally Missed just played. And it's very weird and freaky and haunting.

EDIT: I was just in my kitchen getting an apple out of the fridge, and I started singing Time Is Running Out, the part that says "You will suck the life out of me." And my mother goes, "What kind of song is that?" And gives me a look like this :confused2: . It was insanely fun.

I've talked to forty+ different people, and none of them knew who Muse was... i was shocked, of course over here in Canada, were like... a few centuries behind the rest of the world(not really, but thats how it feels sometimes)

^Sadly, that's how it is here too.

OH MY GOD!

I do have a Muse t-shirt coming... We don't have any tall buildings here though. :(

*Shuts up*

You know, I don't really feel like typing anything else right now. It's been far too long since I've made any graphics of my dear Tobias... :teehee:

THIS POST TO BE CONTINUED

^Ditto. No one here knows them either. Except me. And I'm obsessive enough for everyone.

I have no idea what you're Oh My God-ing at. Sorry.

Lucky! I wish I had an awesomely awesome Muse shirt coming. :( But we do have tall buildings I may shout my love for Muse from the tops of.

Now you can just continue the post in your next post and don't have to edit the other one. And that means one more post for your post count. Aren't I nice? :P

By the way... everyone check out MY AWESOME NEW MUSE BANNER!!! Yay! *hugs Matt*

I agree. Every Muse song is amazing. I have yet to listen to one that I don't love or at least like a lot. Starlight is probably the most addictive though, and probably the best, although that's so hard to decide.

Gah. That video rocked. I can kind of see what you mean by it being Hysteria + Plug In Baby + steroids, but not completely. It was an awesome video though, as are they all. Matt's hair seemed to have reached maximum spikey-ness. Like he could have poked my eye out with it. Not that I would MIND or anything. ;) I'd be pretty thrilled that a piece of Matt Bellamy touched me. And I definitely want to be his microphone in this video. He definitely makes out with it at certain points during the video.
Gracias por sharing.

*mutters* lucky......
What does it look like? Describe it. And of course it's teh awesomeness. It's Muse. What did you expect? :P

^"Best live act." *Swears* They lost best group and album to the freaking ARCTIC MONKEYS. THE ARCTIC MONKEYS SUCK. :disgust:

I can't think of any I don't like either. *Thinks* No, none of their other songs beat Starlight.

It was shot in the basement of Winston Churchill's house. *Wonders how convincing of a microphone costume he can buy* I kid can dream...

Shirt:
http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/store/ ... 3Egender=N

"Muse began the year in the recording studio,
what was the mood like?

“A feeling of great excitement. We were trying hard to prove ourselves, starting again from scratch and breaking down preconceived notions. We wanted to feel like we were 16 again, playing music for ourselves in our hometown, Teignmouth.”

The album has an upbeat vibe, which was quite unexpected…

“We began the process recording in a French chateau, bringing new music into the band. It was isolated, so when that got too intense, we went to New York and the city directly influenced the creativity and energy in songs such as Supermassive Black Hole. We enjoyed the nightlife and the grooves on the record reflect that.”

And then Knights Of Cydonia is out of this world!

“Yes, we recorded that one and Hoodoo in Milan, which was influential. We were having fun! All these locations change how you feel about music. Muse are huge in the US, despite anti-Bush protests. How come?”

“To be successful in America you must go and play, which we’ve had the chance to do at last. We’ve mostly been to the east and west coasts, where people tend to be more liberal. Places in middle America are more hard-line, aren’t they? So when we play there we’ll have to add cowboy boots and a Stetson!”

You have some fans in Hollywood…

“We did some shows on the west coast and people started turning up. It was such a shame, though, Haley Joel Osment, the kid from The Sixth Sense, came to see us in LA. On the way home he had a bad accident. I hope he wasn’t still caught up in the gig and driving too fast!”

Your music has recurring themes of conspiracy theories. It certainly strikes a chord with the audience…

“A lot of people have been asking a lot of questions about recent world events, confused by the shadiness and the mistrust. They’re speaking out against the wars and those views are spreading. We’re all on the same page. Hopefully when we express our views through music, people can connect not just to the music, but to what we have to say.”"

Ok. I know I said this already, but I need to vent one more time. THEY LOST TO THE FRIGGIN ARCTIC MONKEYS??????!!!!! How? Whoever decided the winners clearly had no ears or eyes either.
At least they got best live act though. And tim4x gets to go see them live. [Yes, I'm still very jealous and will probably continue to be so for the remainder of....... forever.]

I was singing Starlight in the car today. Again. My family really hates me for singing it so often. But it is one of the greatest songs ever. I seriously do question whether or not it's wrong to be so in love with a song sometimes.

Ooh. I didn't know that. Very cool.
 Microphone costume! Brilliant. Simply brilliant. If you find a good one, will you share it with me and we can take turns wearing it when they perform?

That shirt is teh awesomeness. Of course it is. It says Muse on it. That automatically makes it on of the coolest things ever. [Yes, I am now also jealous of the shirt.]

Thanks for all the stuff you posted too. I did read it all, I swear, but that was sometime this morning and I can't actually remember anything I wanted to say about it.

I put up a picture of Matt as my wallpaper and my 4 year old borhter sees it and goes, "I like him." Then I asked if he knew who it was and explained who it was to him and he said, "I don't like him. He doesn't look cool." :P My little brothers crack me up sometimes. I explained to him that Matt was VERY cool. Probably one of the coolest guys ever. I don;t know how convinced he was though.

Best Band and Sexiest Man at NME! Beat the Arctic Monkeys! So there. :P

I figure that I just need grey clothing and a large round helmet. My mind control powers will do the rest.

*Hugs shirt* Whenever I wear it I have a good day.

The solution to your problem is this: Duct tape him to a chair and have him watch the Starlight for the next 24 hours. :teehee:
