@Lady Raine: Maybe, but Liv has a certain beauty and grace that makes her really an elf and which I haven't recognized in many other people before and which I don't have myself...But it's a nice thought nevertheless.
@Arwen: Yeah, that's right. I think Liv and Viggo will be Arwen and Aragorn forever. If they'll ever make a remake of LOTR in 50 years or so, I think it would be so strange to see someone else playing their parts...

It would be. I probably won't get over how better Vig and Liv were at being them.

Yeah, I argee. I think with the rest of the cast it would be same.
PJ has just chosen the totally perfect actors for each role. The actors have really become their characters and that's why I think I would never really like a remake of the films.

Yeah, that's right.
I've just thought about a new topic (a bit more creative this time ):
Imagine you were PJ. Which further Arwen & Aragorn scenes would you additionally include in the movies and which ones would you change? What would your scenes look like?

I would do some flash backs in FOTR when Aragorn and Arwen are talking, do the deleted scene where they are dancing in Lothlorin, and some more Arwen scenes in ROTK.

Great ideas.
I would include their first meeting as well and put it maybe in the series of flashbacks during TTT and perhaps even include their secret engagement that was hinted at in the books.
Furthermore I would also include some more dialogue scenes like the TTT dream scene in order to stress the importance of Arwen as a kind of mental support and encouragement for Aragorn.
I would extend the wedding scene in ROTK and also add some more scenes that refer to Arwen's choice and maybe show a connection to Luthien, as I think that the third movie really has too few Arwen scenes.
For FOTR: I would perhaps include a dialogue between Arwen and Galadriel, during which the two talk about Arwen's fate after giving up her immortality and would place it somewhere after Aragorn's departure from Rivendell.
I would love to see a movie version including all those scenes, but I think it wouldn't be managable because of the extra running time they would require and as they would turn the movie nearly into a complete love story.

Now that's an idea that I like. A whole movie about just Arwen and Aragorn. *sigh* If only.....

Yeah, I completely agree, that would be wonderful. Someone could turn the Tale of Arwen & Aragorn into a movie and extend it maybe a bit. It would be perfect if Liv and Viggo would play their parts again. *is lost in dreams*
But isn't there a movie called "Born of Hope" that deals in a way with the Dunedan and Aragorn's childhood? So there's maybe hope that they'll make a completely A/A movie some day as well. I think most of the fans would like that idea.

^ Really? I didn't know that. Oh, that would be so cool if someone made a movie of just Aragorn and Arwen. *dreams*

Yep, the movie "Born of Hope" exists. I've read it somewhere on the net. It's a fan movie. I'll try to search for some info and post it here then.
It would be so great if such a group of fans could make an Arwen/Aragorn movie as well. *sighs*

I heard of it. That's really nice that a fan made it. I hope someone in Hollywood gets the urge to do an Aragorn and Arwen flick. I would do it if I were a director.

Here's the link to the official site of "Born of Hope". You can even watch the trailer there:
http://www.bornofhope.com/Media.htm
It's the story of Gilraen and Arathorn, so maybe, if the movie will be successful, the fans might decide to continue with the Tale of Arwen & Aragorn. It would be nice if they did so, although I personally would prefer a bigger production with Liv and Viggo again.
But any kind of movie would be great, so let's hope that some director will do it...

Unfortunately, it hasn't been released here yet. Do you know if they'll show it in the US cinemas soon or if it will be released on DVD there?
