Aye, it WILL take a while to vote, but I'll manage to decide... somehow...

Lol. I voted. They all looked interesting, but I noticed a trend. Everything I post concering RPGs and such (whether it be character bios or just new RPGs) seems way longer than everyone else's. How in the world do you cut down on the typing so that the posts aren't so....daunting?
I am totally mystified by your abilities to make interesting ideas seem perfectly clear in a much smaller space than I can.

Lol. That's what it's like all the time for me, SG. I'm almost never on at the same time as anyone else, unless I'm practically lurking on the forum.
Lol. (<= I say that a lot, don't I? ) I'm surprised that my RPG idea is at the 1-2 average (of like three voters besides myself, lol) right now. I didn't think many people would actually take the time to read it, much less understand it and consider it interesting.

I only have one friend I've ever been interested in doing something like that with, and thus far it's been quite an entertaining success. We've acted humorous twists with our rpg characters, as well as book parodies (usually Harry Potter). If you ever try it, it can be awkward unless you're both good at acting/improvising and you feel completely comfortable around that person.
Yeah, that's sorta what I meant... though I was referring to more organised things... where people sit all winter knitting chainmail and making latex weapons that can't hurt a fly... I find it quite... *whispers* ackward...

Aerandir, I rather enjoy your long posts. As for new rpg ideas, my only advice is to not think it through so meticulously. You. Are. Not. Writing. A. Book. Get the general idea planned out and post it then and there before your prolific and amazingly creative mind can generate something else. What makes rpgs so fun is that they're spontaneous. You want to make your rpgs flexible enough to make room for new ideas.
Although I do have to admit that you did an excellent job on the Fourth Archway.

Wow, you'd almost think everyone was writing a book from all the intricate ideas there! Makes mine seem quite vague And I SO envy so many of your writing skills, mine seem pretty ineffectual sometimes. And Aerandir, don't get concise, I love how you always have way more to say than me
*Toddles off to see if I have any votes yet*
Wow, I do! *feels loved* I should really get over there and do some voting myself....

Hah. I knew someone was going to point out just how detailed this is, and that it makes it somewhat difficult to Roleplay.
With The Fourth Archway, I had the basic idea in my head and thought up most of the culture styles and names while I was actually writing it up on here. With this one, I've been mulling over the idea since September 2005. That means it was kind of hard to decide which details were unnecessary in the RPG.

^I like more details..as long as there aren't too many, that is...
But I agree with SG, it was so hard to vote!!!!

Lol--like I said, when I've been thinking this up for a year and a half, it's pretty hard to cut back on details. At least the majority don't think it's too intricate.

Hahah--try RPing with it, though. Then say what you think of it.
Wow. Where is everyone? Normally the forum is active right about now, but I seem to be the only person lurking on here right now. :annoyed2:

^I agree. Espescially when you really want to RP. You scroll down to the bottom of the page and see that they are on, but you can't figure out where thy're posting. It certainly isn't on RPs....at times like those I get really antsy.
