Eldarion didn't look at his sister as he answered.

"Raelyn, please! I need to work. Quickly. Give him some space." He dismounted Midnight and carried Elboron off the large horse. Moving him to a bed. He looked back briefly and saw that Alythrya had appeared.

"Alythrya, could you crush up that Athales?" He nodded towards a small pile of the leaf plant. "Raelyn, please go fetch a basin of water. Nana, could you please start a fire?" Arwen nodded somlemly, now obeying her son as she reached for flint. She may have been his mother, and she may have been the queen, but her son was the one to do the healing when his father was gone.

Alythrya, looking down at her brother's pale face, nodded and quickly went to work. She did, however, admire the way Eldarion took charge in the time of need.

Eldarion, once he recieved the materials nessecary, took two rag and soaked it in boiling water that contained Althelas, filling the room with a sweet, potent smell. Placing one on Elboron's forhead, and one uncerimoniously on his chest, Eldarion carfully bound the large gouge across the young man's forhead, and the long scratch land ran the entire length of his arm. After that was done, he sat back and waited for Elboron to show any sign of life.

Half an hour later, after more althelas than Eldarion thought possible to use on one being, nothing happened.

"Valar, he should be awake by now!" Eldarion raged. His best friends was at the gates of mandos and there wasn't a thing that he could do. Quickly making up his mind, Eldairon placed a warm hand on Elboron's face, which was about as white as the sheets around him, and murmured a few words, none of which no one could understand. Exept Arwen.

"Eldarion, no!" Suddenly reaching forward, Arwen's fragile hand wrapped firmly around her son's shoulder. But Eldarion, still in a trance like state, shrugged it off. A single tear now tracing down her face, Arwen leant back, eyes wide, clutching her hands close to her face.

Eldarion swayed, as if suddenly very tired. He, eventually, would go to Valinor, as he was of elven decent. But Elboron... he would go to Mandos, and there he would stay, in emotionless, dark, lonely solitude. And leave all these people in grief. Perhaps later in his afterlife he would go to Valinor, but mabye not. Making his decition, Eldarion concentrated harder.

Swaying still, he murmured a few last words, then fell with a groan to the ground beside his fallen friend. His extremities were now very cold, and his breathing was more labored than normal. Elboron, however, was gaining regular color and breathing normally. Though he was still asleep.

Alythrya ran over to help Eldarion. "Eldarion!" She cried, helping him. "Ebu, what did you do!"

Eldarion said nothing, as it seemed, he had fallen into a half-sleep state. With slight sigh of relief, Arwen quickly went over to Elboron, who was waking up, and propped him up agaist the pillows stacked at the head of the bed.

"Alythrya, dear, please get my son some water." She looked at the girl, and seeing the fear in her eyes, added: "And do not worry - he will be fine. Though a bit disoriented." Arwen then picked up her son - with minor difficulty - and brought him to a bed in the next room over, then returned to Alythrya. "If you would, please care for him. I will stay here and watch over your brother. I have some skill in the healing arts... But Eldarion is not as bad off. I still cannot believe what he did... He nearly scared me out of my skin!"

Alythrya nodded to Arwen after getting a pail of water. She did not ask what he did but went into the room where Eldarion lay and knelt beside him, watching him.

Eldarion groaned. His head felt like a large boulder was ontop of it, getting ready to smash it to bits. Rolling over, he soon found that he couldn't breath. Rolling over, he took a large gulp of air. Though he groaned again when the oversized rock returened.

Eldarion opened his eyes, with some effort, and the world seemed like a large glass of wine being twirled, everything sloshing and churning, twirling and turning... Eldarion squeezed his eyes shut before he became sick to the stomach. He groaned again, and then opened his eyes, this time successfully.

"Alythyra? W-" he swallowed, "What are you doind here? What happened? Why is everything spinning?....." then it hit him.

"ELBORON!" He tried to get up. That was a very bad idea. As he stood, the blood rushed from his head, and he soon fell to the floor, hitting his head on the wall.

Raelyn had tears in her eyes for both boys but she didn't let the tears fall. she stayed in the room with Elboron. her brother already had Arwen and Alythral in there. but when she heard a loud thump. she ran in the room. " what happend!" she saw her brother on the floor.

Arwen glanced at her daughter. "Raelyn he's fine. go tend to Elboron" Arwen lovingly pushed her out of the room back to Elboron.

Eonera was taking care of the horses, since she was better at that then taking care of a hurtt person. She didn't want to have the stable boys take care of them, because she wanted to keep occupied.

When she finally went back into the palace, and heard that now both Eldarion and Elboron were sick, she almost gagged. Clinching her fists, and gritting her teeth, she punched a wall, scraping her knuckles. Then turned and leaned against the wall. She couldn't help but feel this was her fault. If she hadn't gone for that ride and found the guard, Elboron wouldn't have riden down there and gotten hurtt....
