Je n'ai pas compris tout de dont vous parliez mais j'ai compris un peu. Tous parliez-vous des films dans l'anglais ou dans le francais?

Merci. J'apprends toujours la langue donc je ne comprends pas toujours certains des concepts encore. Je préfère les films d'anglais aussi. J'ai vu les films dans francais et je n'aime pas les films autant

Je comprends un peu des mots que vous parlez... Plus que "un peu," vraiment [if that works in French?], mais c'est un peu dificil. ;) Alors, j'ai etudie francais pour [less than] un an... (Today was french class, in fact. We talked about the different kinds of 'emissions de la tele que nous aimons,' among other things. Also books. Moi, j'adore les films et les romans fantastiques! :P Science-fiction est tres bien aussi. ;) )

We're learning about food and restaurants in French class right now. :)

I don't like our new student teacher though, because she tries waayy to hard to be nice and seems kind of stupid. I might need some help with the possessive adjectives (ma, mon, ta, ton...) since the student teacher didn't teach it right.

May I try to explain it to you! ;) I don't pretend to be a teatcher, but at least we can try!^^
Actually, some of our words are maculine or feminine for example:

a dog=un chien=masculine
a table=une table=feminine

I don't know how they did explain it to you concerning the nature of the words in french (feminine or masculine)...
The use of the possessive form will depend on the nature of the word you wanna take possession of:

ma,ta,sa= feminine form
mon,ton,son=masculine form

expl:ma table, son chien ou bien encore: ta main, mon sac etc...

See?! Or did I lose you?! LOL!

^I sort of get it, but I have a lot of trouble identifying the masculine and feminine forms of everything. It just seems really weird since we don't do that in the US. Well, we do, sort of but... IDK I'm just making myself even more confused. :P

Don't feel bad. That all still messes me up. The only thing that works for me is review and practice. I always forget in which situations it's appropriate to use what. sometimes I'll get going really quickly on a sentence and I'll forget to use the right subjects for certain objects. It's complicated being from the US because objects don't have gender assignments to them.
Ok sorry. This post has gotten very wordy.
