Technically, Iroh must've died before or something before if he's able to so connected to the Spirit World.

Yeah, in the Siege of the North episodes...
Seige of the North Pt. 2 wrote: Iroh (angry): Zhao, the Spirits are not to be trifled with!
Zhao (patronizingly): Yes, yes, I know you fear the Spirits, Iroh. I've heard rumors about your journey into the Spirit World.
And in the episode Winter Solstice Pt. 1, Aang is taken to Avatar Roku by Roku's dragon and Iroh (along the way of being kidnapped by earth benders) spots them even though they're in the Spirit World.

Hey, there's something I don't get. I was just watching an episode...Oh dear, I *think* it was Return to Omashu. Yes, that must be it. We see Zuko and Iroh sitting by a building, asking for money from the villagers walking buy. Pretty early in the scene, a man pulling a cart trundles by, and displayed on the cart are a number of masks. The Blue Spirit mask is definitely one of them, you can see it very plainly. Later in the same episode, Zuko goes after a fellow who was rude to Iroh, wearing his Blue Spirit mask.
So my question is, did he still have his mask with him, or did he just buy the one on the cart?

That's actually in "The Swamp" and yeah --- I think they simply used the Blue Mask as a passing mask on the cart for foreshadowing... I wouldn't look too much into it.

Wait. isn't Iroh Zuko's uncle? he can't die! he's so cool. i haven't really seen many episodes because here they always play the same 5 ones. it's so annoying. so this thread is very interesting.

He didn't die...well, so far as we know, he's not going to die. We think he might have died before because he was able to connect with the spirit world, but we don't know anything else....
It is a bummer that they olny play 5 episodes. What episodes are they?

I hope they've gotten a premiere date for book 3 soon, I haven't seen any advertisements and previews for book 3 on Nickalodean so I'm going to assume they haven't released the date yet.

i haven't heard either...
the episodes they keep playing are the one with appa getting lost, the one with the sand people, and one when aang adn the others are shown around ba sing sai and the one with the swamp. those are the only ones i've seen and maybe a few others here and there, but they're always the same...o well. i can't wait until the new episode after they take the earth king away from the city. wasn't that the last episode of book 2 or something?
