I know that kiitos means thanks but I don't know about kiitoksia. Maybe it's the same word lol
Finnish is completely different from the other Scandinavian languages since it belongs to the Finno-Ugric family and Swedish, Norwegian, Danish (and English) belong to the Germanic family.

Yeah, Hungarian is a distant cousin of Finnish.. it probably has the same meaning as Tarja shouts that after every live song

Maybe it's a way of saying "thank you very much" as opposed to just "thanks". Finnish is the language of mystery lol

Yeah, I kept hearing Tarja shouting something and couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was.
Ooh, Eru, you sing? One of the reasons I got so excited about this whole symphonic metal genre was it's finally something I can sing along with! I can't sing pop to save my life, I'm a little lyric soprano for goodness sake. Not a coloratura like Tarja probably is, but operetta is what I sing and I love hitting those higher notes. I'm constantly singing Sleeping Sun when there's no one around to make fun of me.
I really do hope the new singer has a voice fit for these songs. I liked the fact that Tarja was classically trained...there really is a difference between untrained people singing rock or pop and trained people singing it. _________________ I am a Shieldmaiden for Christ!

I bet you sing Sleeping Sun beautifully  I can't quite hit the highest notes on that one so I always have to lower it a key or two in order to sing it. _________________

Eru, you have a beautiful voice. And you're rich, it sounds perfect for folk music- sounds like you've found your medium.
If I ever manage to get a half decent recording of me singing I'll post it.
