Rugby fans sing it better. Every anthem sounds better when sung by rugby fans as they actually know th ewords and love th esongs themselves lol

To be fair, the Scotland football fans do know the words and do sing it with the same pride and passion that rugby fans do.

I was generalising a bit there lol. Scots always sing like they mean it, I spose it s a thing to do with beating us Englishmen?

I'm not really sure why, but Flower of Scotland seems to bring out more emotion and passion than something like Scotland the Brave.
I think with sports like football and rubgy it seems to bring out that passion and emotion even more.

Owh... when did the topic change from Whiskey.... *shifty eyes*
Anyway, I love how the Scots know how to party. I've seen Scottish people after having lost a football (soccer) match, and passed out drunk on the ground, waking up and the first thing they said (in their singing Scottish accent) was: Where's the pub?

I feel like I should clear something up here... I never argued in favour of alcohol... I just converse about it when we're on the topic... :innocent:

Welcome to the club Memory :D

Have fun finding out about Scotland. If you've got any questions for someone who lives there feel free to ask me :) (well I don't live there at the moment but I'll be back home reasonably soon.)

Well, Sida, looks like you have 2 questions about Highland dance now... Haldir O Lorien's and mine...
Are Irish dance ghillies the same as Highland dance ones?
Around here we can only get Irish dance ones and I need some Highland ones for a camp this summer.
