I've got a new RPG up in the LotR section! Would be very kind if y'all would go in and drop by to check it out!

Sorry for double post, but MAN. What has happened?! Does no one post here anymore? There have been no posts here in nearly three days! Nada!
New RPG quesiton:
Do you have a harder time thinking up a plot for an RPG, or do you have a harder time making a really good post?

Erm, it really depends on the situation. I haven't come up with very many RP ideas, at least, good ones. lol I've only actually started one RP, but I do have some ideas floating around in my head. I usually don't have much trouble posting, but as far as really good posts go, that is tougher. Sometimes my character isn't doing much, or there's not much going on around him/her, so that makes it tougher. Other times, I don't have too much trouble.

Really good posts come pretty easily to me if I like the rpg reasonably well. The length of my posts is directly dependent on how much I'm enjoying the rpg. Ideas are another matter altogether I get story ideas quite regularly, but a story is often hard to convert into an rpg. I've started exactly two rpgs in Sharky's End since I joined A-U: Phantom Grey and the Mary-Sue one a while back (go British accents!). They both took a LOT of thought and tweaking, and they've both turned out respectably well. If I start an rpg, it has to be a good one.

Both come relatively easily to me. The length of my posts isn't necessarily dependent on how much I'm enjoying the rpg, just how much I drive myself to post. Sometimes on my favorite rpgs I tend to relax, so my posts are actually shorter. Plot ideas are like dominoes for me - one idea triggers the next, as currently demonstrated in Star Crystal. I usually feel like I have to have SOME plot input - be it a useful action post or just making more enemies rush in - or I shall go mad.

RPing.. I'm here.
I haven't thought of any RP ideas.. but I do have a few stories in my head. The problem I have with converting my stories into RP's is that I do not have "complete" control over them.

Wow, it seems no one's been posting lately. I'll take a gamble and hope this stimulates things a bit.
RPG Post of the Month
Enter an opening post for for an existent or nonexistent rpg. No out of character elaborations on plot or setting. No character bios. Must be completely in character. In your post, try to introduce both a character and the enticing beginnings of a plot. Think of it as a prologue.
Deadline - April 27.
Yes, I know. This one's a bit harder than the rest. Should be rewarding if you try it though.

Can it be a post that was actually written in an RPG? Or must we be creative and come up with a new one?

I'll wait for an example before I decide whether to think too hard on it.

I have a RPG idea for once but I am still working on it to improve. I would be glad to write down here if you are interested in.
LDM, you want us to write a RPG post in here. That seems kinda hard

Ah, Captain Faramir, keep working on that RP. All but 2 of the Rps I was in died, so I need someone to make a new one.

I'm glad I'm getting feedback, and no one said this was going to be an easy contest
All right new question - do you try to alter your post style to fit your character? For example, if you have an optimistic character, do you try to change your wording to make your post sound more optimistic as well?
