THAT'S AWESOME! Every thing I carefully gathered on my own and points and complaints I tried to present to an unsympathetic audience (my family) it's all right there! It's really fun to read the constructive criticism of people with reason instead of the usual, "I hate Arwen she is just a spoiled princess, PJ is stupid for putting her in the movie." Finally an essay that gets into people's heads that ARWEN IS NOT A PRINCESS!

Of course, some of it was just goofy, but they actually brought up a lot of interesting points about the book Arwen who I am constantly defending that got me thinking and I like that.

I really don't see the bad thing in this, after all Arwen is NOT a real person! What's wrong seriously saying that she appears as to be a spoiled pointy-eared chick?

I'm not an Arwen-hater, though I don't like her. Really, that's not an interresting character to me and I can't take this out of my mind: if Arwen appears so much in the movies this is just because Liv Tyler was too expensive to have her just one or two weeks of shooting!

I say: let's people have fun as long as it's not just mean to other real people!

It's still rude. There's nothing wrong with saying those things, but having a site devoted to hating her? That's a bit off the top. I mean, I'm not saying it isn't allowed because it obviously is... Well, some, not all. Maybe I am more the type to put a lot of creativity into something needless like they are, so I'm not looking down on it as much.

Besides they aren't being completely hating...the lists and essays are not like all full of "I hate Arwen" and everything, though the pictures kind of are, but they explain why.

Oo, boy, would I love to debate with them! Here's what I have to say to that quote:the fact that she saw the pleading in the baby's eyes, causing her not to go to Valinor, was the significance in him seeing her son, not that there was a son, period.

I never really cared for that scene anyway, I mean the Eldarion scene was sweet, but Arwen running back to Elrond and throwing her cloak on the grass (what was the point of that?) and turning Elrond's face in her hand, that whole thing got on my nerves a bit.
