I'm presuming Nicholas and Alexandra is about the Romanovs? My friend's obsessed (she's trying to bring her 12, 000 project on them down to 6,500 words) and has 30-something library books on them, so I spend a lot of time making subtle comments about incompetant rulers and their families. It's fun to see her rise to the bait.
I'm still trying to finish "the Hollow Hills". It's taken me two weeks so far, because I keep on reading other things, and my brother keeps on running off with it! I'm also reading Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series, and Tamora Pierce's "Circle of Magic" quartet.

Hello . I am just finishing up Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. The other book that I am reading is Return of The King by J.R.R. Tolkein. I will try and start reading either "Gone With The Wind" by Margaret Mitchell or "Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen ( I am a big Jane Austen fan).

Me, I recently finished George MacDonald's "The Light Princess". I love that story. I also recently finished rereading "Out of the Silent Planet" and "Perelandra" by C.S. Lewis. Oh, and "Till We Have Faces, a myth retold" by Lewis as well. Kinda strange, but the last bit by Orual is one of my favorite quotes ever.
At the moment I'm working on "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery, and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Shakespeare. Varda willing I'll finish before school starts.
I read three or four books at a time, unless I'm working on LOTR.
OOOO! OOOO! Whoever said they read "Sense and Sensability", I've never read it, but I might join you in reading it. I've only ever read Pride and Prejudice, and I LOVED it!

You've read "Out of the Silent Planet"? Lucky you! I've only read Perelandra, and I've been told it doesn't make any sense unless you've read the others.
I've just read "Dragon drums".

I am currently reading "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck and I'm almost done. I wasn't informed that we had books to read over the summer for our Honors English class so I'm getting it done now. Book assignment is due Sept. 26, 2005. Piece of cake.
