Prosthetics?
44. Sean Astin's daughter Alexandra plays Sam's daughter Elanor, and his son Frodo is played by Sarah McLeod's daughter Maisy. (Sarah plays Rosie)

48. Billy and Dom made up the game of "Tig", and, when Elijah started to play, they made up rules just to confuse him.

I love this game! I'm surprised, I know most of the stuff mentioned.
50. In the nearly-last scene of FotR when Sam rushes into the water after Frodo, poor Sean stepped on a piece of glass and they had to stop filming. (I saw the pictures of his foot on the documentary. Yucky. )

50.) The Orc battle cries for the Helm's Deep battle sequence were provided by a stadium of 25,000 cricket fans, who screamed the war chants, spelled out on the Diamond Vision screen, with Jackson himself leading the crowd.

52. Ian McKellen and the four main Hobbit actors shared a trailer.
53. Elijah brought about 1,000 CDs to the set (or something like that...maye it was less, I'm not sure) and he liked to play them very loud quite early in the morning.
54. He did so many, many times when sharing a trailer with Sir Ian. Usually, they'd be able to hear Ian's loud incoherent protests through the flimsy partitioning.

That was last one is hystericly funny. Thank you for posting all of those. I didn't know that one though. However I could certainly see that situation happening. Ian yelling turn that music down and Elijah turning it up and...oh what joy. (laughs)
55. To one of the premiers of the LotR movies Sean Astin went bare foot.

You're welcome! I think it's somewhere on the EE DVD of FOTR but I'm not sure. It's so funny to hear Elijah mimicking Ian's yelling.
57. Philippa Boyen's son plays Haleth son of Hama in TTT.

56) Howerd Shore played one of the Rohirrim at Edoras in the RotK. (In the scence when Theoden says 'Hail the victorius dead")

57. Bernard Hill is left-handed.
58. Because of this, the scene where Théoden rides down the line of Rohirrim and hits their spears with his sword was quite difficult for him, seeing as he was holding the real, heavy sword in his weaker hand.
59. The aforementioned scene was actually Bernard's idea too.
60. The main horse who played Shadowfax, Domero, was apparently (as quoted by Ian McKellen) "a diva".
