Alright, really good episode! Lots of yummy Sawyer goodness! LOL!

The sad thing was, for the 1st half of the episode, my stupid TV was cutting out, so I missed some of the convos I'll have to watch it again on ABC.com to hear everything

I'll post more detailed comments tomorrow

Oh! And next week looks brilliant! I can't believe there're only 2 episodes left!

That's pretty much what I said the whole episode.

One, I hate Juliet.
Two, I am...erm...disliking Jack. *gasp*
Three, I still don't like Locke. Total jerk. But, because it wasn't a flashback episode, I didn't mind him.
Four, Ben taking out Locke's papa...HOT!! TOTALLY HOT!!
Five, Charlie, Jin, Hurley, Desmond...TOTALLY FREAKING HOT. Throw SAYID into that mix. UNBEARABLE.
*sigh*
AMAZING.

Sawyer takin' out that guy, really cool. Ha ha ha. And as much as I think Locke was a coward for not doing it himself, I liked the look he gave Sawyer at the end. Pretty sweet.

Ben, amazing in this episode. And where oh where did that doctor guy dude that recruited Juliet come from?! Psshaw!

GREAT episode. I was a bit pissed that Kate told Jack. I just wouldn't have told him. *beep*. GAH. Me no likey Jack no more.

And I hate saying that. It KILLS me to say that...but DAMN JULIET!

JF, Here is your recap. In flashbacks it comes up and says eight days ago, Ben shows Locke the room where they are holding Locke's father captive, Locke keeps yelling at Ben to tell him why he brought him here, Ben keeps saying that should tell him because they didn't bring him there but that Locke did, Ben started to walk down the halllway and Locke followed him and asked him to telll him where he came from and not to give him that whole magic box stuff again, Ben said that the box was just a medifore and went on to tell him that he and the other Others were going go to a new place or rather an old place and asked Locke if wanted to come, Locke waited a few seconds and then said yes, Ben said good and told him that they were holding Kate only a few buildings away and that he might want to tell her goodbye, and then he rolled down the hallway. Then it comes up and says three days ago, Locke is tie- ing something, Cindy comes over and thanks him for doing that because other wise it would have taken her hours, Locke pretty much said your welcome, another Other walked over to Cindy and Locke and said that Ben wanted to see Locke, Locke said okay and went to Ben's tent, Ben was listening to the message that Juliet had recored for him in the previous episode (about Sun be pregnant by Jin on the island), when Locke walked in Ben turned the recorder off, Locke stated that he had been told that Ben wanted to see him, Ben said yes and asked him to hand him a stick that was leaning against a table like structure to his left, Locke handed it to him, Ben stood up and said that he had Locke to thank for that because he couldn't even feel his toes before Locke had came and that when he did he felt pins and needles, (Ben leaned on his stick/cane), Locke asked him what he wanted, Ben said that Locke didn't know everything about the island, Locke told him to just tell him, Ben said that he wasn't ready yet and that the Others needed for him to show a gesture that he was comitted first, Locke looked at him and asked him what, Ben said that he would have to kill his father. That night Ben came up to Locke and told him that it was time, Locke followed him, Locke's father was tied to a tree, The other Others were watching the event, Ben handed Locke a knife and told him that he would have to kill his father, locke's father asked Locke if he hadn't figured it out yet, Locke's father asked Ben if he really expected that little whimp (or something along those lines) to kill him that he still needed his daddy, Locke yelled at him to shut up and put the knife to his father's neck but pulled back and told ben that he needed to think, Ben told him that his hesitation was just a part of him of him that still believed that he had a good explanation for what he had done to him, Locke's father said that his hesitation was because he was a weak spineless, then Locke yelled at him to shut up, Locke's father struggled to breathe as Locke pressed the knife to his throat but then Locke let go, Locke's father smiled, Ben turned to the Others and said We were wrong he not who we thought he was and then Ben adn the Others walked off. Locke sat on top of a hill, a guy Other walked up behind him and told him that you never did get over the beutiful view and then indroduced himself as Richard, Locke shook his hand, Richard told Locke that Ben just wanted to humilate him and make him think that he was not special, Locke looked at him and asked why he was special, Richard told him that when they found out that there was a man on the plane who had been paralyzied that could walk again that they knew that he was special and that he would have to kill his father though but if he couldn't do it to let somebody else kill him and handed him a red file, Locke opened it and statred reading, Richard got up and started to leave, Locke turned to Richard and half yelled Saywer why would he kill my father he doesn't even know him, Richard kept walking and told Locke to keep reading. It came up and said yesterday, Ben and the other Others were packing their stuff up, Locke asked where they were going, Ben told him that they weren't going anywhere that they were going to go and that Locke was going to stay behind that they were going to leave a trail thought that he could track but that if Locke came back that he had better be carring his father's dead body on his back, and Ben and the other others then walked off.
In present we see Locke in the jungle with a red file and he tosses it into a fire. Elsewhere we see Kate laying beside a sleeping Sawyer, Kate starts to get up, Sawyer asks where she is going, Kate says that she is going to her tent that she can't sleep in anyone else's tent, Sawyer sighed and started to get up and said okay, Kate told him that it was nothing personaly but that old habits and all, Sawyer said allrighty then, put his gun in his back pocket, and asked her if she wanted him to walk her home, kate said that it was only five tents away that she thought that she would be fine, Sawyer stated that he had to go to the bathrom anyway Kate said oh how romantic gave him a kiss and left, and then Sawyer got up and left. Sawyer headed towards the jungle but spoted Hurley and Jin outside of Desmond's (I think) tent and stopped to ask them what they were doing, Hurley fired the question back, Sawyer told them that he had to go to the bathroom, Hurley said that that was what they were doing too, Sawyer said okay, and he headed off into the jungle. Well Sawyer finaly gets out into the jungle where he thinks is far enough...he hears something pulls out his gun, then here comes old Locke, Sawyer asks him what he is doing, Locke tells in short tells Sawyer that he was working under cover with the Others and that he kidnapped Ben adn wanted him to kill him, Sawyer gave him a horrible look and said that he wasn't kill anybody, Locke asked Sawyer not to tell anyone that he saw him and walked off, Sawyer stood there for a few seconds and then ran behind Locke telling him to wait up. The next day we get a shot of Sawyer's seemingly barefoot (?) feet and he is saying ouch all the way, Locke tells him that he should have got some shoes, Sawyer comes back with a you think so, Locke says that Sawyer (all the while calling him James) is going to kill Ben, Sawyer gets mad/upset grab's the knife that Locke had in his jeans threw him on the ground and yelled at him to tell him why him and, to tell him the truth, Locke started to say something by calling him James, Sawyer literaly yelled at him to stop calling him James, Locke told Sawyer because he couldn't kill him and that he knew that Sawyer had killed a man before, Sawyer let Locke get up, he asked Locke where he had heard that, Locke said that the Others had files on all of them, Sawyer asked what else it said, Locke said that it said that Sawyer's parents had died when he was really young and added that that must have been really hard, Sawyer kind of choked and said what else, Locke said that it didn't tell why thought that his father had killed his mother and then shot himself, Sawyer handed him his knife back and told him that the information was wrong and that they weren't going to kill anyone, Locke said that Sawyer would change his mind once he heard what he had to say, and they started walking. When they stopped walking again they were beside a creak/stream, Sawyer wadded into it a bit and seemed to be sooking his sore feet, Sawyer asked Locke if what Ben had to say would change his mind, Locke said yeah, Sawyer said well don't you want to give me a heads up, Locke told him no that it wasn't his place to tell him, Sawyer told Locke that he didn't mean to kill the man that he thought he was some-one else, Locke asked him who he thought it was, Sawyer swallowed and asked if theym were allmost there, and Locke said that they were allmost there. Then we see them come to the Black rock, Sawyer told Locke that he had a nice place, they went in, in the brig there is a person with a bag over their head screaming, sawyer said in a surprised voice that he actualy did kidnapp him and went into the room, Locke slammed the door behind him and blocked it, Sawyer banged on the door and yelled at Locke to let him out, Locke sat in front of the door carving a stick or something with his knife, Danielle walked in latter, Locke asked her what had brought her to the Black Rock, Danielle said dynamite, Sawyer banged on the door and continued to scream for Locke to let him out, Locke pointed to a box in the corner, Danielle picked it up, Locke told her to be careful that it was unstable, and Danielle left. Meanwhile in the little room the man with the bag over his head continued to scream as well, sawyer pulled the bag off of his head made the hush sign and gave a shocked loook that he wasn't Ben, Sawyer turned to the door pointed the gun at it and told Locke that he had his gun pointed at him, Locke said that he wasn't going to shoot anyone, Sawyer pulled the saftey trigger back, Locke said that he wasn't going to shoot anyone because didn't have any bullets because if it had have had bullets that Sawyer wouldn't had threatened him with his knife, Sawyer let his gun back into saftey mode, Locke's father said that he didn't raise no fool, Sawyer turned around and asked what, Locke's father said that Locke was his son, sawyer asked him what, Lockes' father told sawyer again that he was Locke's father, Sawyer asked him how he had gotten on the island, Locke's father asked Sawyer if he hadn't figured it out yet adn went on to say that he had been driving in Tallahasse got hit in the rear of his car spun into the divide that the parametics and had came that one had a huge grin on his face when he gave him the iv adn that then all went black and that he woke up gagged and in cell where in came his dead son Locke, sAwyer said what, Lockes' father said that Locke had been paralyzied permanently that he had pushed Locke out of a window, Sawyer asked him if he had died from falling out of the window, Lockes' father told him no that he died in a plane crash in the paccific, Sawyer said that there was one problem with and that was that he was on that plane too and that they had landed on the island not the Paccific and that he wasn't dead, Locke's father told asked him if it wasn't a little bit hot for Heaven, Locke's father went into how he had been a con man, Sawyer asked him what his name was, Lockes' father said that he went by many names and listed several off inclueding Anothony and then Tom sawyer, Sawyer asked him Sawyer, Locke's father told him yeah that that the ladies loved that too because it made him charming, Sawyer said what a coicdence my name is Sawyer too he then asked him if he had ever been to Jasper Alabama, Locke's father asked why, Sawyer told him to just anser the question, Lockes' father said yes and tried to crack a joke that for him not to tell him that he was his father, Sawyer said no that he hdad killed his daddy, picking up on what Sawyer was getting at he asked Sawyer if he had taken up that name because ghe was on some kind of revenge kick, Sawyer handed him his letter and yelled at him to read, Locke's father rad like the first three sentences and then said blah blah blah so what, Sawyer yelled at him to finish reading it, Locke's father said that he just took the money that his dad had if he decided to go for the whole murder suicide thing that that wasn't his fault and started in about sawyer's mother praticly begging him to take his father's money and rescue her from her sorry life, Sawyer told him that she had a name that her name was Marry and yelled at him to finsh the leter, he told him allright I'll finish it and ripped Sawery's letter, sawyer went into a rage and killed Locke's father. Next we see Locke and Sawyer just outside of the Bacl rock and Sawyer is getting sick as he is on his knees, Locke walked up behind him, sawyer asked why he did that to him, locke told Sawyer that his father had it coming that he ruined both of their lives and thanked Sawyer for doing it. Sawyer got up, they headed back towards camp, Locke told Sawyer that Juliet was a spy for the others that was there to find out which of the women were pregnant and that there was going to be a raid in threes day were they took all the pregneant women, Sawyer said that even if it were true that they wouldn't believe him for Locke to just tell them, Locke said that he wasn't coming back with him handed Sawyer him a recorder told him that now they woule believe him, and then Locke walked off.
Edit here you go...Charlie went into the kitchen and gathered food, Jack walked in and asked when they had gotten back, Charlie said that he had gotten back that morning, Jack said cmaping huh, Charlie said yeah that they had wanted to explore and male bodning you know, Jack nodded and said that next time to sign him up too, Charlie said yeah next time took his box of food and walked off. Jin, DEs, Charlie, and Hurley treated the parachute girl om Des (?) tent, CVharlie asked if they should tell Jack, Hurley chimed in with Charlie as well, DEs went on about how Jack was hanging out with one of them, Charlie said Juliet, Des said yes and that they had had their friends in cages two weeks ago, that Jack had stayed with them for ten days so that he was only going to tell Jack if they could give their word tha the Others hadn't done something to him, Charlie and Hurley looked down and didn't give a reply, and Des said well they needed somebody to trust.
Well there is part of it...I will finish it in the morning. I have to go to bed right now. Sorry.

I love Locke lol. That episode made me really like him for some reason. Ben kind of ticked me off though. I wanted to hug John when Ben was humiliating him, he was obviously hurting emotionally. I wonder if Locke will be the one who tries to take over the others 0_0.

Regardless of how Ben irked me in this episode he was TOTALLY HOTT!!!! .

Okay good afternoon everyone! Sorry it has taken me so long to post here. I have been running around like crazy all day today. I eneded up pming JF the end of the recap. To make a long sotry short I tried about 4-6 times (retyping it each time) to send the final part in and it wouldn't let me so I just pmed it to her. Anyway, if anyone else here needs that part of the recap for them just let me know and I will be more than happy to pm it to you.
Okay, as for my thoughts on the episode...In honesty I was dissapointed. (shakes head) Saweyer killing the orginal Sawyer was taking the character two steps back as far as I am concerned. He needed to move foward if nobody elses's sakes than for the viewers. That was out of character. He kept saying that he wasn't going to kill anyone and he I think was starting to move on...now they ahve moved him backwards.
I was disappointed over the flashbacks as well. Locke's flashback's seemed to drag out. One or two of those flashbacks instead of like four would have told us what we needed to know. Besides we will be seeing a pleanty of him throughout the rest of the season, correct? Well, I think that Sawyer really neeeded last night's flashbacks. Sawyer had waited 27 years and the viewers waited 3 years to have our Sawyer come face to face with the orginal Sawyer. So to play it out like that was a rip off for everyone. He Deserved...he Needed the flashbacks.
Locke the character also didn't move forward in my eyes. Him not being able to kill his father...okay fine that is understandable..but dragging Sawyer into it so he can join up with the Others (that is what I see coming next)... ...bad...bad...bad! He still couldn't kill his father and yet he found a way around having to kill his father himself. In my eyes that makes him no better than Sawyer. He got Sawyer because he knew that the would kill him (even if we didn't) (sighs) No character devolpment for anyone...except for Locke proving that he can find his way around the rules. Very disappointing. The other stuff with Naomi and stuff was okay but didn't really fit well because of the whole Saywer thing going on. The Sawyer stuff should have been a story all on it's own...not about Locke's trip with the Others not about Hurley worring about if they are actualy (dead or not), and not about Kate fighting with half of the island. It needed to focus on our Sawyer, Locke and their relationships with Mr. Sawyer. Then the flashbacks should have focused on the way the orginal sawyer afflicted their pasts (off of the island). It's not even that the episode was bad in it's self but that there were so many other wonderful things that they could have done with that. If I could have picked Sawyer and Locke would have each got 3 flashbacks, we wouldn't have seen anything other than them and the orginal Sawyer and their flashbacks, Sawyer would have come close to killing Mr. Sawyer but wouldn't have been able to, the orginal Sawyer would have got the upper hand, and Locke would have had to kill the orginal his father to protect our Sawyer. That would have given them both chraacter growth and the flashbacks wouldn't have been quite was distracting. The writters cheated us I say!

Gilraen, I am nearly postive that I read in the TV Guide magazine that the finale of this season is going to be two hours long (like Banana Republic said) and that the finale is going to be on the 23 of this month. So I think that we will get an episode next week and two the week after that.

Well I had read spoilers, so I knew that it wasn't the orginal Sawyer but even before I had the spoilers I knew that he hadn't kidnapped Ben (that's not Locke's style) and I had a pretty good idea that it would be the orginal Sawyer. I can guesse once in awhile what is going to happen...after seven years of watching soaps it just comes naturaly to me (laughs) but now with Lost it is usaly alot harder than with a soap. lol Maybe I just had a lucky guesse last week when I thought of that. (shrugs)
I have no idea but I can not wait to find out. I think that that could prove to be very interesting. Ooh, and whatever it is Jack is in on it? Hmmm...yeah this could get very interesting. Oh, and by the way while on the subject of them I loved their little light hearted giggle moment over missing the cheesburgers. That was so nice. It was allready way to distracting the way they were cutting over thing, so we might as well have had something to be able breathe and just smile about. lol A wonderful Jacket moment!
Yeah, Juliet's hair was blonder. I noticed that too. I thought that it looked good on her...as in I wish that my hair looked like that. Yeah, I am totally jealous she has Jack the cutie hanging out with her and great hair. (sighs) lol
Naomi (the girl in the tent) said that something about to remind her not to rescue him (Sayid...as like to get back at him for trying to imply that she didn't have a way to communicate with her boat.) lol Least wise I am pretty sure that that is the way that it went down. (nods)
I have no idea. Maybe she was getting to go and set up more traps that might kill poor Charlie. She didn't even ask why Locke had Sawyer locked up! Oy...well I am sure that her getting that dynimate will play into the story latter though. It was too random, you know? It's just the figuring out what she is doing with it... ...I don't know. (laughs)

Well, I kind of hate myself for accidentally reading the spoiler about it here. Totally my fault. *sigh* Because the whole time I was wishing I hadn't known so I could feel the suspense. Lost suspense, as much as I hate it at the time, I LOVE it. XD
But, I also, when I saw the preview, I had an idea that it probably wasn't Ben. Mainly because Ben could kick John's ass without a moment's hestation. XD Locke might be weird, psychopath that knows to much about knives and such, but Ben...is Ben. XD
But, in my opinion, it doesn't excuse Locke for getting Sawyer to do his dirty buisness. *sigh* Totally cowardly.

And yeah, Naomi was talking about how Sayid was totally suspicious of her. I LOOOOVE Sayid! *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

As for Russo! (XD I remembered her name! EXCITING Doesn't mean I spelled it right. ) What's funny about her getting dynamite didn't phase me at all. But she's always up to something, and Lost wouldn't have her delibrately get dynamite for no reason. Big boom will happen. But, like I said...in my opinion, something totally normal for her to do.
But, I think...walking in to find Locke sitting by a closed door with yelling going on behind it...not something out of the ordinary for Locke. I mean, from THAT perspective, from HER perspective, in my opinion, not out of the ordinary. Does that make sense? Ha ha ha!!

But, I love how she hestitated when Locke said, "It's unstable." And she had the ENTIRE box. Geez...big time boom. XD

So, DD, are you saying there are 3 episodes left? The third one being the 2 hour season finale?

MontanaBohemian, Yes three episodes to go all together I think. Oh, and by the way somehow last time I posted I had missed your post so I just have to say that I agree 100% about Sayid. He is hot! They need to show him more. He's smart, strong, hot, and seems to have a pretty good heart. We totally need more Sayid!
I totally agree. Ben beating up Locke...I could totally see that happening and you can bet that that would be one time that I would be cheering for Ben for sure. lol
(laughs) Yeah, that make Perfect sense. Danielle always is up to something like blowing stuff up and John is always hurting one of the Losties. That is pretty much how it goes. If you were Danielle you probabley would just keep walking because you didn't even want to know what Locke was a doing. lol (rolls over laughing)

JF, You are very welcome. According to Locke's father he Locke died in a plane crash ( he was saying that Occean flight 815 crashed and that there were no survivors). Then in short Locke's father said that he had been in a car crash and that last her remeberd was being put into an abulence with a guy putting an iv in him while smiling and then black and being on the "island". Did that make any sense?

Well personaly since Sawyer did kill him i was glad the way that it worked out. As a rage thing over him tearing his letter and I really don't think that the remarks about his mother helped...was the best way to do. If he had really thought and that about it would have been premeditated and I would have hated that too. (shrugs) I wanted him to let him go but if he had to kill him that was the best way in my opinion. However I can see your point and it might have been nice if he had done it for his parents rather than just himself.
Well I'll just have to try my best and if all else fails at least now I know that I can try doing it through pm as well if I just have to.
Not yet. The last scene was Locke carring his father's body away. I think that he was heading for the Others though because he told Sawyer something about being on his own journey. He just hasn't caught back up yet, if I understand it correctly.

By the way what do the rest of you think of Kevin Tighe (Locke's father)? Personaly I think that he may be one of the best actors I have ever seen. He gave my mother nightmares and she watched him on Emergency where he played a good guy. He scared me too (not nearly to the extent he did my mother though).

The orginal Sawyer made a ill mannered comment that if they were uh you know where that Sawyer's daddy was probabley there. So do you think that Sawyer's dad is going to show up or anyone else's parents perhaps (Jack's dad or Kate's father...not as a horse that is)?
