Forever, to me it wasn't so much that she doesn't captivate him anymore, but that at a time in the past (in Lothlorien) she did indeed 'captivate' him (hence 'used to'), and she still does...It's not exactly what the words would seem to literally mean, i know, but i wanted to make that banner because i liked the idea of Frodo being 'captivated' by Galadriel, and 'used to' could i guess be taken as him remembering their time in Lothlorien, like i said... Anyway, that's what i was thinking. Hope it makes some sort of sense.
Thanks for explaining the layout, and i'm glad to know there'll be a Frodo-themed one coming up soon. But this one is very nice--it's a neat idea, and i like how it's about you yourself (right?), tho headers about characters are good too.
Also, i just finished another banner! This one has lyrics from a song by Michelle Tumes, a christian singer my mom and i like. (I can tell you what the words are if you like--i know they're kind of hard to read. I don't have time right now, though. Speaking of words, does the banner feel a little 'crowded' to you? I have a problem with using too many words, lol... Anyway, i have a backup plan, so to speak, to use less of the lyrics, if i need to.)

Thanks--i'm glad you like it. I thought it was a bit too crowded as far as lyrics go, tho, so here's the new version. (By the way, the song--by Michelle Tumes--is called Fair Weather, and the lyrics i used in the first version were "In the silence when the fear calls/And the tears pour, you carry me home/You're the windfall in the rainstorm/Stay with me (with me)" and in the middle "You are never fair weather". It seemed to fit Sam. In this version, i kept all but "You're the windfall in the rainstorm/Stay with me (with me)" and I like it better. It doesn't feel as crowded.)

Basically, copy and paste the person's in front of you. Then, put a + by your favorite character and a - by your least favorite character. You give a point to your favorite character and take one away from your least favorite.

I voted, and Frodo now is one point away from 100. Still behind Legolas and Haldir, tho... C'mon, Frodo fans, let's show 'em that Elves aren't all that's great about LotR! After all, Frodo has that Elvish air, too, and he's just...Frodo. lol (I'm a bit hesitant about getting so competitive, tho, if you know what i mean...They're all great characters. But Frodo rules them all. )

If you want to search for "field of innocence lotr" on youtube.com, you'll find two vids of that song involving the hobbits, whom it really fits (in my opinion, and the opinion of the ppl who made the videos, too, apparently ).

Thank you! I don't have photoshop, so i make do with several other programs, namely Ultimate Paint (which is different from regular Windows paint, as far as i know), PhotoFiltre, and PhotoPlus. I wish i could blend one picture into another, but i haven't found a blending option yet...There may be one, but i haven't discovered it. Its existence seems doubtful, lol. But i love making Frodo graphics so much that i make them anyway. lol

Edit: I've voted for Frodo again. He's now in the 140s. I hope Eomer and Gimli get 'eliminated' soon (that sounds awful, i know --it's not that i don't like them, tho), so that we can have a real showdown between Frodo, Legolas and Haldir. lol
