Yesterday and today I watched:

"28 Days Later" (Again)
"28 Weeks Later" (For the second time)
"Spider-man 3" (Eh, it was okay... As usual, the only character I cared about died.)
"Shrek 3" (For some reason, I feel like two Shreks was enough)
"Big Trouble" (HILARIOUS)
"Paris Je T'Aime (Paris, I Love You)"
And a bit more of
"Den Osynlige (The Invisible)" (Not that it's a bad movie, it just doesn't hold my attention very well... :confused:)

And I'm planning on starting
"Dawn of the Dead" (The 2004 version that I still haven't seen)
"American Psycho" (FINALLY. I've wanted to watch this for too long.)

Good god, Mr. O. That's a LOT of movies! :blink:

BUT, I'm very excited and proud of you for FINALLY watching "American Psycho." :notworthy: Tis a VERY good movie. :yes: I practically worship it. ;) Just kidding.

Crusade in Jeans

I loved the book, but I thought the movie was nice as well, I just hate an open ending.. :disgust:

The Million Pound Note

Gentle comedy set at the turn of the 20th century in England starring the delectable Gregory Peck. What better way is there of spending 100 minutes of your day? :teehee:

Haha, why did you see 3 without seeing 1 or 2? The first was the best, I think. Which I just finished watching, by the way.

The Train

Ye gods, that film has seriously messed up with my Top Ten War films list. Awesome film. :notworthy: Totally under-rated and what performances from the brilliant Burt Lancaster and Paul Schofield! Emotional, thrilling, sad and uplifting. Sheer brilliance.

I feel like I need to watch it again. Like now.

I think this was my third time seeing it. It's still a delight every time. Excellent movie :)

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl

Getting ready to watch AWE, so I'm re-watching the first 2 Pirates. At this moment I can safely say, COTBP is my favourite so far. It's got a much simpler story and for me it's what Pirates is all about - fun and entertainment. From what I remember DMC got a little bit too much involved with the story and the action scene, and got a little bit lost in all that was going on, but I'm watching it tomorrow so I'll see. :-)

yesterday would have been laurence olivier's 100th birthday, so i celebrated that (and the end of my exams) by watching:-

henry v - genius concept, starting the film as a performance at the globe;

the prince and the showgirl - a little dull and over-long, but olivier made it worth watching;

and spartacus - beautifully shot with great performances. much more subtlety and warmth than i expected in an epic.

larry really was wonderful - a very versatile and powerful actor. besides, anyone who can deliver a shakespearean speech while sat atop a restless horse and not falter in his lines immediately deserves a great deal of respect.
