I was so scared it wasn't going to end Willabeth - SO SCARED. But then it did! And I was sobbing through the whole scene where Will got stabbed, absolutely bawling my eyes out. I was really despondent at that point. But it was so lovely and bittersweet!

I was in so much shock when he was stabbed, that I forgot to cry. I was clenching my throat, and worried, because he was dying and I really, really didn't want that...

what's ironic, is right before that scene, i had thought, "Well, Barbossa dies and is rescued. Jack dies and comes back and rescued. Now, it will be Will's turn!" Then, speak of the devil, it was.

I'll join! :)

But now he can't be with Elizabeth and his son. All the worse in my opinion. Jack and Barbossa can go on land. Psh.. not cool.

(Yer added!)

Well, I think that's true love for you. I can't think of any truer form of devotion than that you would rather be with one man whom you see every ten years than marry another whom you could see every day.

Though really, let's face it....how hard would it be for dear Lizzie to row out to the Dutchman every now and then when Will was in the area and say hello? Maybe it's wasn't only every ten years...

It makes me so sad, though, to think how lonely she must have been...

I was bawling too, all my friends were looking over at laghfing at me because I have never cried durning a movie before. I was out hugely scared. I tapped one of my friends on the arm when he got stabbed and she grabbed my hand (she's a huge fangirl like me) and I think I almost cut off her crulation I was holding I so hard.
Then he didn't die, and he was back with Elizabeth, and I was all happy.

Yer added :)

I was sad, because the ending was so bittersweet, but happy too. My friends were giving me mildly anxious looks through the whole ending when I was absolutely petrified that my Will was going to die, but I was really the only fangirl there. I want to cry just thinking about it...

Ooh, I simply must join the Willabeth club!

~~~SPOILERS~~~
I saw the movie last night and I couldn't believe the ending - so sad, yet it seemed to be very oddly satisfying to me - that's true love for you.
At least Will didn't die - I was freaking out when Davey Jones stabbed him, it made me cry. It made me feel sad for Will and Elizabeth, since now they'll only get to see each other once every 10 years, unless something changes. But at least that's better than never being to see each other ever again.
It made me so sad to think of Elizabeth all alone for the next ten years until Will comes back, and then even sadder to think of how they must have missed each other, and then I wailed to my siblings about how awfully sad and happy it all was - and they were singularly unsympathetic. It's just such a beautiful story, to think of Elizabeth being faithful all those years and Will coming back to her. And his son. Who is, IMO, the cutest kid EVER.
(And yer added, Arya Undomiel!:-D)
Did you wait till the end of the credits in the theater? There was a scene with Elizabeth and a boy around nine years old standing on a cliff above a beach while the Dutchman (with Will aboard) sails in. Their son :) I made my friends wait with me because I knew there would be one.
Oh no, I missed it! :( :( :( :( :(
Do you think there would possibly be a place on google or a video site where I could see that part?
But I'm seeing it again after school's out, so I guess I'll see it anyway...
Now I'm sad :(
