Am I the only one who found the end happy? I mean, he didn't die, and then the clip at the end...
I thought it was great, beginning to end.

I didn't think the ending was sad at all. but then again, I'm not a Willabeth fan and I never did care about what happens to Will aside from where Bootstrap is concerned. *cringe from fangirls*

^I know how you feel. I don't ship, aside from deeming Sparrabeth unnatural.
My joke is that I float around on a dingy to whatever couple I please instead of shipping.

Okay, I think that anyone who hasn't seen the movie should stay away from this thread.
And even though I am a huge huge hugeeeee POTC fanatic, I'm not sure if I loved or hated that movie. Well, I know I didn't love it. I think I'll post a review. Some of the movie was just on crack, where other parts were just amazing. Okay honestly, the several Jacks, what was up with that? Drugs are bad, writers. Say no.

Now, I rather liked all of the Jacks. You must remember he is in eternal torment in the locker, with only himself as company.
Who knows, maybe he's always been like this and we're just now getting a Sparrow's Eye view.

Indeed it was. I just wish poor Norrie hadn't died.
The music was absolutely brilliant. I really liked how well Hans Zimmer tied together all the new and old themes, and the new love themes are, dare I say it, very, very beautiful.

I cried for Norry. And I apologize to all of you, because I picked him as my favorite for this movie, and he, like all others, had to be killed. But at least he got to kiss Lizzie.
And I didn't like the new score.

I agree, I think that was Jack's point of view, because they're also somewhat throughout the movie! I like the barnically, Flying Dutchman Jack.
"Nobody move, I dropped my brain!"
And I was kinda a Willabeth fan, but not enough to think that they would be torn apart... I was just sad for Will... not Willabeth!
And the song that they sing in the beginning is creepy... I've got the whole song somewhere... but where... lol!

I haven't been a fangirl for four years... 'cause when FotR first came out and I saw it I was a huge Legolas fangirl for a while... hehe... not anymore though...
Hey... I found the song!
Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the Colors high.
Heave ho,
thieves and beggars,
never shall we die.
The king and his men
stole the queen from her bed
and bound her in her Bones.
The seas be ours
and by the powers
where we will well roam.
Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the Colors high.
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
never say we die.
Some men have died
and some are alive
and others sail on the sea
– with the keys to the cage...
and the Devil to pay
we lay to Fiddler's Green!
The bell has been raised
from it's watery grave...
Do you hear it's sepulchral tone?
We are a call to all,
pay head the squall
and turn your sail toward home!
Yo, ho, haul together,
hoist the Colors high...
Heave ho, thieves and beggars,
never say we die.
I love it! And the second verse sorta resembles Culypso(sp?), and her story, doesn't it?

i thought that killing off norrington was really lame. bootstrap just kind of stabbed him, like "what happens if i do this?"
it wasn't for self defense, he just kind of....stabbed him...
so i was very sad about that.i think that they atleast shouldve had davy stab him or have something tragic happen.
