You know what's sad? Is that I've HEARD this riddle before. I've seen the answer...and for the life of me I can NOT recall it. BAH!!
What's even worse, is the fact that it's taken us so long to figure it out. And we still haven't. XD

From Stephanie's perspective:
Mrs. Phillips and her husband were on the same cruise... So.
Did they go on the cruise together, as a vacation?
Did they share the same room?

Man, my competitive spirit is not going to let me give up.
Stephanie knew Mrs. Phillips and her husband went on the cruise ship, to Greece, as a vacastion, and Stephanie did not know of any hard relations between Mrs. Phillips and her husband.
Did the murder happen at night?
Was there a picture alongsde the headline?
By the way, great job choosing the riddle.

Alright.. the riddle, from Stephanie's perspective.
1. She thought Mrs. Phillips was alive
2. "Mrs. J. Phillips died" - Informed Stephanie of the death.
3. "in a boat accident" - Informed Stephanie of how
4. "in the Greece"
Stephanie exclaimed that it was murder, which would contradict #3. Which means that it was because it was in Greece, right?
