The Two Towers

Again, with someone who has only ever read the books... its quite interesting.... shes always shouting at the screen, because a character didn't do something properly... its a wonder she even knows whats going on.

Damn the Defiant

It was interesting, and good actually. Set back in the 1700s or soemthing aboard an English.... frigate I think? Definately not a ship of the line. But anyways, and the whole crew mutined and yeah... it was really old, had Alec Guinness(sp) in it.

Yeah...agreed. I love that movie to death but I get so depressed every time I watch it. :P (Which is, after all, a sign of a great movie. ;) )

I watched Bridge to Terbithia last night. I love the story, because I love the book, and was curious to see how it was translated into film. I thought it was great, but my mom was upset because it was depressing. She doesn't like depressing. My sister already knew something bad was going to happen, so throghout the entrie movie she would occasionally shriek: "Is something going to happen?! What's going to happen?! Does she die?! I bet she dies." I think my dad was just bored.

Anyhoo. After it was over, my sister started fighting my dad, and my mom sighed and asked me if I had finished the dishes.

Yeah. Great experience to watch touching movies with my family. :eyeroll:

The Mists of Avalon!
It was wonderful... 'cept Morgaine wasn't as ugly as she was supposed to be (heck, even I'm uglier than her) and Gwenhyfar is even more annoying in the movie. It was good though... I'm hoping to be come a proper Druid one day, so this movie was very intriguing to watch.
:)

I was forced to watch it with my friends..and I can't handle scary movies.

But this one was pretty good. Except I covered my eyes for quite a while. It was eerie though.

Dude... how can you even look at him when Thomas K is on screen? o.0 *drools her heart out* I still need to watch the extended version of that.

Beauty and the Beast - My favourite animated film. Ever. I know a lot of people prefer the older Disney films, but this to me is what Disney was working towards all those years. It has a wonderful story, the best romance in a Disney film, some absolutely fantastic characters, and it is beautiful to look at. And not to mention the songs. "Be Our Guest" and the new one "Human Again" are my favourites, but I like them all. Magical film. *****

^I love Beauty and the Beast too! I just watched it not long ago - it's scary how similar I am to Belle. :P

Anyway...stayed up till some terrible hour of the morning with my mom and aunt and watched the '40 version of The Philadelphia Story. Carey Grant, Katharine Hepburn and James Stewart, what's not to love! :-D
