^That sounds interesting.... never heard of it though
I'm reading "Myths and Their Meaning" by Max J. Herzberg
It's an old book that was published in 1928.... it looks really cool. Old books look so much nicer than new ones

I randomly decided yesterday to re-read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I'm almost done with it now.
Also, Life Without Ed by Jenni Schaefer [with Thom Rutledge]. Goodness.

Beowulf, which I must read for school. Fortunately, it's the one out of the three books I have to read that I actually wanted to read.

ah yes, beowulf - one of the greatest works of literature ever composed and the reason i'm studying english at uni. i absolutely love it and i could talk about it forever. i'll be studying it next year, and i'll even get to take a crash course in anglo-saxon so i'll be able to read it (or at least part of it) in the beautiful language it was originally written in.
anyway, i'm still reading the little friend by donna tartt. i love it, but i'm afraid i'm being very slow with it - insomnia's left me too tired to concentrate for very long.

The Kalevala. In English of course... it's a bit confusing, but really good once I understood most of the first bits

That's cool! I have a dual-language edition so I know what you mean. I'd like to be able to read it in the original language too.

Yeah - I read the dual-language one, too. =) I had to read it over the summer once... Beowulf, A Tale of Two Cities (which wasn't too bad,) and Rebecca. Enjoyed almost all, 'cept for the fact that I sometimes wanted to throw A Tale of Two Cities across the room. =D

Ah yes. I completely understand. They're making me read that one too. It's confusing and frustrating my mother, who's reading it to me.
