The Mists of Avalon. It's so different from the film... the film is such a disappointment... *sad shake of head*

^I've just finished the "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley. It was wonderful! I've never seen the film...

I don't understand it either... Harry Potter CAN be interesting at times, but it just can't compete with any of Tolkien's books

I know! Though I may be slightly biased, seeing as I didn't like HP even before I read LOTR...
Anyhow. I've just got through the first chapter of The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. If this one isn't better than Dickens' stuff, I may die...
The good news is, I'm going to read The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy after this. A friend of mine recommened it, and I'm looking forward to it.

FINALLY started The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'm enjoying it much more than Dorian Gray (though that one wasn't too bad). Does anyone know if there are books that come after this one?

I've just finished "Web of Light/Web of Darkness" by Marion Zimmer Bradley. The book tells what happens before "The Mists of Avalon".

I just finished:
Rotk
Fairest (by Gail Carlson Levine - 'twas okay, not match for Ella Enchanted)
The Great Brain Reforms (by J.D. Fitzgerald - I love the Great Brain books! Yes, they're a little old, hard to find, and written in a very easy style, but they're very amusing!)
